sir Phillip Hughes +169 is a deadbolt lock in gm 3

This is the easiest bet of the playoffs so far. Yanks manager Girardi will look like a fukking genius for holding fatboy till game 4. Hughes won't do anything spectacular. He won't have to. Verly will get hit just enough and he is an easy fade of the great gn 5 showing.

    Yanks ml +169 (4x) gm 3

I like the bet. I just don't understand how you're going 4x if this is so easy after an 18x loss on the O's

I call it the "No Way Verlander Loses At Home To Hopeless Yankee Bats" play

    +169 isn't a good price though

Yanks have not hit in a while now

Verlander at worst gives up 4

Hughes gives that up also easy

Tigers can hit well, Yankees momentum has drowned. Plus 169 is not enough

Seems like a bet made just so someone can say "told you so" if it happens rather than a bet made on the actual situation. Yankees' bats are dormant. Have been for all but two innings of the postseason. If they win, it's because Hughes pitched his balls off an limited Detroit to one run or none. Yankees aren't going to win many if any games at this point where the opposition scores three or more.

Cold damp weather forecast with the wind blowing from the south @ 10-12 MPH and increasing through the game. Hughes nemesis is the homerun ball and I don't see many leaving the yard tomorrow. I don't see a lot of positive matchups on either team against the starter other than Miggy.

Seems the under 3.5 first five would be about the best value here. I don't see substantial to support a play on the Yankees other than gut feeling or the usually fade the public perception smoke and mirrors. Then again I don't see much value in a Tiger's play at all.

Honestly the Yanks look like they have there bags packed for there fishing trip. There body language at the plate just looks like they have given up. Maybe getting on the road and not having your own fans constantly booing you will help I guess

verlander doesn't have the best track record vs the yankees and as soon as the yanks get to him just a little, that invinceable feeling he had vs oakland is gone and its back down memory lane.

these guys are pretty happy with life as a yankee, i dont think they want to jeopardize their way of life. Lots of guys like swisher, granderson, canoe need to redeem themselves and quick. what better way than to rough up verlander.
hughes pitched well in small park now he goes to a bigger park and with the cold weather, it should keep him on track with his good start this post season.

I just don't see why I can't get a better price, like +180 or so.

I mean, come on. Verlander is considered the best pitcher in baseball and Hughes doesn't exactly have a sterling reputation. Tigers home field advantage. Yankees have not hit in weeks, Jeter is out, A-Roid is busy trying to pick up girls during the game and is a shell of his former self.

What evidence do we have that the yanks bats will wake up? seriously....i mean i want to take them at such a great number, but i just see absolutely NO evidence that all of the sudden they will start hitting....they haven't hit this entire post season, just throwing money on them because "they're due" makes no sense to me....mortgages have been lost on the "they're due" philosophy....but damn, how often can you get the Yanks at +168??
