They could of easily managed his games better and have him pitch 5 or 6 innings in games where he pitched 7 or 8 innings.

He is 6'4 220, not some wimpy pitcher that needs to pitch less because of an 85 mph fastball that could go down to 80.

It was nearly a lock that they were going to make the playoffs. They could of just simply not
pitched him as much in the 2nd half of the season and took him out early in games with big leads.

He would of been perfect last night as the closer should of been taking out when those bases were loaded up last night.

People think the nationals have a great future but they don't have the money to keep half of these guys.

Dont be surprised if 4 of their top 5 players are gone in 1 to 2 years and don't make the playoffs again for years ,

Its funny how pitchers are on a pitch count but they don't count the pitches between innings on warmup, before game and throwing inbetween games
