    Wtf? Texas tech isn't nearly as good as Texas, and WVU rolled into Texas and beat them as 7 point dogs by 3. With this line, and beating Texas by 3, they are saying Texas and Texas tech are on the same level. Lol unreal.

    im not "sharp" enough to play tech....prob be on wvu or over waiting to see what kind of wind will be going on in Lubbock...but i agree no sense being cute with this one, take the mountain ppl or pass...

    plenty of decent reasons to play tech which makes wvu way more appealing to me, lol..

    totally agree with LTProfits on this one....not to mention the fact that this is the second consecutive long road trip for WV in back to back weeks which doesn't bode well for them....factor in the classic case of an emotional let down after a HUGE win at Texas and I wouldn't be suprised in the least to see Texas Tech upset them and win outright, let alone to cover the +3.5 spread...

    They only put up 31 against Maryland and won by 10 at home. 6 of those came on a defensive TD. They can and have played flat or down to their competition this season. Tech at home is no slouch. Tech win wouldnt surprise me.

    WVU is in a bad spot here, playing in back to back road games far away from home. Other than hosting this game, Tech isn't necessarily in a good spot either. They usually get up for one or two games a year, and they were really looking forward to their game last week vs OU, in which they were exposed and absolutely deflated. They don't have a whole lot of momentum going into this game, while WVU has plenty and a hot hand at QB also.

    Everyone is treating Texas Tech like they are a top 20 team, when they really haven't done anything to earn that respect. Sure, their win in Ames looks better after the Cyclones beat TCU last week, but do how much can you really praise a team for beating three cupcakes and a mediocre big 12 team? Especially after their "improved" defense was exposed by the spread attack of OU last week.

    oklahoma rolled texas tech like they were a high school team and WVU is just as good as oklahoma if not better. My theory is never make a road fav a large play but for a unit i like WVU
