    Bodog Asia, UK update

    Bodog Asia, UK update

Bodog Asia has made its first major move following their acquisition of bodog UK. Bodog.co.uk will be transformed into a standalone casino product, and temporarily closed for new registrations pending a reworking of the platform. Players who played with the UK site for sports betting are able to cash out their balances in full as normal. Additionally, Bodog.eu is no longer serving players directly; however where applicable, players will be redirected to the relevant Bodog licensed operator. Bodog.eu players are also able to request their balances in full. | Read more

I am surprised more is not being made of this story. I am getting the run around on a mid four figure withdrawal. I wanted Skrill, but they tell me that e-wallets are out of action at the moment. I have requested a wire transfer, but even that has yet to be actioned upon.

Whatever the case might be behind the shells, all Bodogs are now sincerely their own separate legal entities.

Bodog.ca is licensed in Antigua, Bovada.lv in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake (geographically Canada), and Bodog88 in the Cagayan Special Economic Zone and Freeport in the Philippines. Each has their own payment processors and again are separate business entities.

So in short no, there's not much effect on other brands. However only Bodog.ca is subject to a reasonable level of financial auditing. What's happening behind the shells who knows - so yeah perhaps is some residual effects. My opinion is there probably will NOT be any additional effects period on the other brands. I suspect Bovada and Bodog.ca are fine.

Have tried a wire transfer. But they claimed that the information i provided are wrong. But have worked with other bookmakers, so should be OK.

But deposit are not working either. So hopefulle moneybookers will be a option in a few days.

I'm far more sceptical about all this today, how do they shut down and not be prepared, and why would they shut down if they're not prepared? In any case finance department at Bodog UK says this will all be straightened out next week. but I dunno talk about lack of communication. Anyone getting emails about this? Or are all players just wondering wtf how do I cash out?

I had no information at all and it is certainly making me a bit nervous.

The fact that Moneybookers isn't working and I have it on good authority that is not true, this came from an account manager at Moneybookers.

I requested an MB withdrawal last Sunday, after 48hrs I contacted CS and was told there was an issue. So I requested a wire. Now I am from the UK so this wire should only take three days, so it should be in my account no later than Tuesday.

Has anyone received withdrawals since they shut the sportsbook?

I've emailed them several times without reply on where my outstanding future bets are going to be housed. They took an almighty hiding in the UK horse racing markets, fish in a barrel and all that and their retreat seems to imply all is well with existing customers but I've heard that many times over the years.

When you logged in you have no deposit alternativ.
Only "payout". And there only with wire.

Have trid to mail them and have not receiced any answer.
"Only" €300 for me, but hopefully it will be resolved.

Important to be patient in this cases. Never give up and try to be polite. I'am checking bodog several times a day to tried to be first in queue if/when they open for moneybookers withdrawel.

Has anyone received payouts from Bodog.co.uk? I am still waiting for my wire and am told that it will be in no later than Wednesday 24th October.

Would like to hear from anyone that has received a wire transfer as to how long it took. I think 10 days for a UK customer is ridiculous, though appreciate that it's the norm for US customers. Us Brits are not used to having to wait anything more than a couple of days for bank withdrawals.

Thanks Chubnut, I am now on day ten and still no wire. I was told by someone this morning that although I was promised it would arrive by day 10, it could in fact arrive at any time between now and the day I die. I will file an SBR complaint, am fed up with dealing with the CS muppets.

A few weeks ago after I won a few bets they told me that my account was disabled according to section 2.3 of their TOS and that they wouldn't provide details specific to their review of my account. A couple of days later they announced that they were closing the sportsbook down so I figured oh well I wouldn't have been able to continue betting here anyway. However, after that message I wouldn't hear anything from them for nearly 3 weeks until I chased up on it with an email yesterday. To my dismay they are now saying that all my winnings are forfeit and that they are only returning my deposit when I have done absolutely nothing wrong. I've only opened one account, never signed in anywhere but on my own laptop, never bet on incorrect odds. All I can think of is that I participated in their refund/cashback/enhanced odds offers they sometimes have going on and that I wasn't profitable to them, but to steal all my winnings is just ridiculous. How can I file a complaint here?

Just wanted to assure everyone who was playing at Bodog.co.uk that you will 100% receive your money. If you're having trouble receiving your payout and CS is not helping to your satisfaction, please send me a PM and I'll speak with the head of finance for you.

Also, to address a few of the q's above, yes- Bovada is a separate entity than the Bodog branded gambling sites. Also, Calvin owns the Bodog brand name and has nothing to do with Bovada.

    Thanks!

What about the method of withdrawal?
    They only have 1option!
Moneybookers or neteller as other options would be nice!

I had missed the troubles as been pre occupied. By time I noticed the site was down. I have 4 figure balance and emailed Customer Services tonight at midnight and within half hour they had told me that they have processed via my e wallet.

Let's wait and see if money comes (sure it will) but CS were great getting back to me and were empathetic with situation.

    Let's hope it comes soon

Woke this morning to an email with my funds hitting MoneyBookers. Super efficient and can't fault the level of service they showed. Really wondered if I was getting money back at all but 4 figures back in my account

Have also received my money to Moneybookers.
My first mail (a couple of week ago) was never answered.
But new e-mail a couple of day ago resolved the issue.

Hopefully this is a shutdown where everyone get their money.
But also afraid that they priority people on the forum and that many will never received their money.
But thats off course only speculation.
