    LSU/Florida at 2.5

At the beginning of the season I would have bet big on LSU. Both are now undefeated and both havent looked great but Florida has had more competition. They both have great defenses and subpar offenses. Florida had the bye week to prepare and LSU played Townson. LSU has a better coach and players but college home field matter a lot. Last year LSU stomped Florida but both teams now have new RB's and QB's. My question to the panel is how are you leaning on this game and where do you think the line will end up. I think I'm going to bet big on LSU but I want the best line.

Nothing you said points LSU big. LSU is the next overrated team to go down. Feels like Muschamp gets his first big signature win.

If I had to bet the game I'd say flordia wins a close one. It's gonna be who has the least turnovers I favor flordia because I like there qb better and they have home field.

You guys forget that Les Miles always dominates these big games. LSU always under performs against weak opponents and then absolutely obliterates teams like Florida who are high in the rankings. LSU probably wins big here by defense alone. I'm looking at like a 21-3 17-0 type of game.

So under might be the way to go, but I believe LSU easily wins by 3

I think taking LSU here is crazy. The Gators off a bye, looking to pay back the Tigers for the thrashing they took last year. LSU hasn't done anything yet this season yet, with 4 layups and a game against the offensively challenged Auburn team that they won 12-10, on the strength of a safety, despite outgaining AU 2-1 in total offense...

I think the Gators win this game with authority.

LSU to win by 4 isn't big by any means. Florida is good but LSU still has yet to be beaten by anyone other than Bama in the past two years. Les Miles should be able to fire up his group. Frankly the pathetic showing against Towson should work wonders.

LSU usually has games where they play like crap and barely win. It's what they do

I'll be at the game. Sitting in LSU section, but have Florida +3 for a dime. Got the line when it first came out.

I'm taking Florida in this one. I absolutely hate LSU, and I heard that Tebow has a year of eligibility left and will be starting QB this week, hah!!

All of you are correct. Here's the difference:

LSU has more talent, but Florida has been playing better.
If LSU plays how they're capable, then LSU should win by at least 10 pts.
That said...if LSU falls behind, then it will be a very tough game for them. Florida could win if LSU gets behind by a touchdown early.

LSU has not played a real strong game this year yet, so they are long overdue for a breakout phenomenal game, and I have a strong suspicion this game will be it, being that it is Florida. As I posted earlier, of all the games this weekend, this game is the one I am most interested in watching. I also put a dime on it, so I am very much looking forward to taking the stroll the to pay window!

And since LSU has not had a real strong game this year, you think they're going to magically have one against a solid defense in 'The Swamp'....makes perfect sense. LMAO

LSU has the same starting tailbacks as last year. Blue is injured, so he will not be playing.

Have yet to see them really fall behind even if they were momentarily to Aub 10-9. Last year they could live in the come from behind situations, did it against ARK and UGA and this year with AUB. Those teams didn't score a single point in the second half. Don't count LSU out even if they look like dogshit for 30 mins.

Not having fallen behind is why I think it would be difficult for them if they did. Last year, Mathieu (honeybadger) is the one who brought them back from the dead against those teams you mentioned. Also, they no longer have Brockers, Mathieu, or Claiborne on that D. However, their D is still solid...so I agree with you there.

Thinking of playing this game on a spot card a guy at work runs. He has it at LSU -6 on the card. If so many people are considering taking Floriday getting 2.5 to 3 Im thinking I should definately take the 6. Any thoughts?
