Chargers @ Steelers from 11/16/2008... Was A Worse Call

That game was 10 times worse. Because the ref went into the replay both after the game was over, and over turned that palomalu touchdown. He had no reason for it. At least in this seattle game, we know what the ref was thinking....

How was that call 10x worse? The outcome of the game was the same whether they gave Polamalu the TD or not.

Nobody cares about your degenerate betting habits.

agree with ny here, i was thinking about that call and it only mattered because of the spread, this cost green bay a win.

That was a worse call because the ruling on the field was a touchdown. The ref went into the replay booth and overturned the ruling for absolutely no reason.

Yea but the game from 08 was a more obvious case of funny shit going on. Seattle the other day was just pure incompetence.

It changed the ATS outcome which is all that matters since the NFL is profit driven 1st,and yes the NFL is the most popular sport because it is the most wagered on sport 10 fold..........

i had the chargers in the game so i have fond memories of that play

maybe thats clouding my vision, but it really had zero implications aside from the spread, also was the first 11-10 game in nfl history.

You don't remember it entirely then. The ruling on the field was TD. The first review confirmed TD. For the first and last time in the history of the NFL there was a SECOND review session in which it was overturned. That game was very very very fixed. It didn't decide the outcome, but it was much more bizarre and crooked then the SEA-GB game.
