    A scathing report on Bovada that SBR needs to read, and make a serious adjustment.

    Wow! The nerve of these managers at BOVADA. I find it hard to believe that they are withholding my "promised" 50% match bonus. This is two weeks later since that promise by one of their phone agents. What do you have to do today to not be ripped off by Books? Tape all conversations? After all, like all Books, they're damn near impossible to beat anyway, especially with all the changes they've made in the last 10 years, so to insure that any sports gambler will likely be a 40/1 [maybe more?] long shot to financially survive the complete season of his chosen sport.

    Some of the well established Books do not dare to try to pull something as cheap as this caper that Bovada is trying to do. They don't have to because they have high clientele already established, along with a solid reputation.

    I will add some more details later.

    Ok, here is some more ugly detail about Bovada:
    I signed up with a 474 Sunday before last. I got hit from two sides with a total of $40 in fees. Nice.
    The phone agent, a male, with a thick foreign accent, stated, you will get a 50% free match bonus..more than once he stated that, and he is the one who followed through with the processing of the dep..
    He says you can only dep. 475 per day using my method of dep. So, I asked him, " if I send another 474 tomorrow, do I still get the 50% bonus on both." You see, I am more cautious than most gamblers. Also, SBR rates these guys an A.

    "Yes, you get the 50% bonus on both." Now I haven't played with these people for how many years[?], but they still had my user name and pw locked in. In fact, I never recalled dealing with Bovada ever, before? Maybe they changed names?
    Okay, I started using their service, and after 24 hours I get cold feet. Their software is bad, plus I see no football games where you can buy a point? First thing I did was make an error, thinking I had a wager and didn't know it wasn't processed until the next day. Their software fooled me, but I should have double-checked. I was in a hurray... "I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT FKG LINE CHANGES THAT HAPPEN EVERY FEW SECONDS!"
    Hasn't every gambler had that stinking problem nowadays?

    Ok, now I ask for refund the next day, and they obliged. Yet, thinking it over, I decided to ride it out for another week and give them another try because I did have my bank left and will have that 50% match coming, too.

    On the third day, I sent them a message, asking about my 50% bonus and is it possible to buy points--you cannot reach them on chat, if I recall?
    They answered with email about the point system, claiming you can buy points "sometimes."

    Now, I decide to hold off on the second dep because they are looking pretty darn tight with their rules.
    Another day or two went by and still no bonus? So, I sent them another message using their homepage Bovada message screen [again]. Now, a day later, probably, they state through email...

    Dear Mr.********
    Thanks for contacting Bovada Customer Service.
    We understand that this is regarding the 50% Bonus that you will receive on the account.
    Upon review of your account please be advised that there was no memo about the 50% bonus that we promised on the account. In addition our promotions and bonuses are being sent via email.     Okay, that actually was the second email they sent, with that same answer. And, also, the same answer I received a couple days earlier when I called about that bonus. The lady states again, we see no evidence where you were offered the bonus.
    So, here was my latest reply to them, through email: o: Bovada Customer Service <service@bovada.lv>
    Subject: RE: General Customer Service

    ME: I do not understand how your sports service could be so irresponsible? I know I sent at least two messages through your website [not email], concerning the promised 50% bonus in the first week of my deposit. What happened to those messages? You have made me very aware of how Books can take advantage of it's players.
    I will certainly give your business a scathing report. A report you definitely deserve.

    Meanwhile, I DO want a refund of all my funds asap. Please do not try to charge me for that withdrawal, because again, I was told that there would be no charge.

    Their last email reply:
    Dear Mr. ********

    This is in reference to your inquiry regarding your 50% Bonus.

    Once we have these details, we will do our best to pull up the call and listen to it. If we have determined that this was a mistake on our part, we will credit the bonus accordingly.
    As per your request, we have requested a payout for you for the amount of $800.67 which will be reviewed and verified within 24-48 hours. Please note that for Check by Courier payouts, you are entitled for a one free payout per calendar month.

    Here's what they don't know, or don't care: I explained in explicit detail "twice" on the telephone, previously, with the facts of the dep day, Sunday 9/16, the male agent who stated plainly 'I'll get that 50% bonus,' plus, the time, morning, and explained to them it was a male. The same male who processed the deposit!

    Now, just how difficult is it to find that male. I have not talked to a male since dep. day, Sunday before last. It's been all females. What did they do, execute all male employes since that deposit? We know they tape all conversations!
    They, surely, must be in a shaky financial position? My goodness, I am the one who must prove this controversial issue? They can now keep their "hidden offer" of a bonus.
    There is something rotten with Bovada, but I will not stick around to witness what it is?

    Bovada customer service can barely communicate in english.

    They will also go above and beyond to do anything they can to delay/prolong your payouts.

    how are they an A rated book? what is top of the grade about this book?????

    This is a lesson for why you should handle everything through email with any online book, so they don't "forget" about promises they made once they have your money.

    Did they at least give you the bonus on your first $250? If it was really your first deposit with them, I don't understand why they wouldn't match 50% when the offer is advertised all over their site.

    Okay, thanks. I will send some of this thread I posted, telling my side of the story. Anyone that picky about a 50% bonus on $474, is suspect. Also, they are offering bonuses, still, I believe? They have had almost 2 weeks to straighten this out. Plus, how many male employees do they have anyway, and they can't find that particular one "who" processed the deposit? Should be easy to see the deposit day and the man who processed it. It's called deposit history.

    I did read it, and it's funny how these crap books can write a 1000 words with the meaning of a simple FU.
    Nobody should play at Bovada, besides being useless they are also not safe.
    SBR ratings are crooked.

    I've always dealt with very pleasant people at bovada, sadly i have made 3k worth of deposits in my lifetime there and I will deposit again ans hopefully make my first withdrawl. I have used an aol for years i need to switch that becuase I have logged in a handful of times and had a $25 to 100$ sitting there, I also check my spam folder and i have never had an email from them.

    really says, Your payout should be processed for shipment within 5-10 business days. add 1 week for shipping still 3 weeks

    ...The entire Bovada CS team is based off of a f-king Asian floating boat...any time you call them, you can hear that Asians are different...they got teams and manners- Tony from 5Ds would of told you to go f-ck youself about 2minutes before you started to talk...

    Okay Lou, yeah I kept playing, believing all the while I would get that bonus. I would not have dep. if not getting that nice bonus, plus, your A rating was somewhat influential, also.
    And do you not still have them rated an A? Why?
    Furthermore, isn't it up to them to prove their innocence?

    Maybe SBR needs to explain how Bovada cannot explain themselves out of this accusation?
    It's SBR responsibility, isn't it, to ensure any of your SBR sportsbook members, have some passable degree of integrity? Otherwise, what do those ratings mean? That they pay their customers?
