So has Lebron secured his #2 position on the greatest NBA player after winning this NBA championship?
He has now led 3 different franchises to winning the championships.

B.S. Put a asterisk by this Championship as well. More like a summer league championship. Playing in a bucking bubble, short season as well.

Who cares. Obsession with what place you are. Seems dumb. He’s going to be a billionaire and can do whatever he wants whenever he wants and can provide for his family that should be enough. You get nothing after you retire for being second best, first best or any best. And when you’re dead who cares who talks about you, you’re dead

guy fukking rips off two people on loans , fukkin bet points cant even man up and pay back on
Cant even honor betpoints. What kind of man could you possibly be in the real world
with dead ass important responsibilities and accountability and so forth .
if cant even pay back Peso Points , then can only imagine how untrustworthy you are in the real world

So why the asterisk? Because the season looked different than the ones you're accustomed to?
Who cares if it was played in a bubble or on the moon? The goal is still 10 feet high, games are still 48 minutes, and you still have to beat your opponent 4 times to advance to the next round. Sounds to me like a legitimate championship.

He will always be #2 thru #5 unless it's in another dimension where Michael Jordan doesn't exist.

Like Scottie Pippen and others said, it's not real basketball this year
It's more like pickup games.

LeBron has won with mostly scrubs around him, carrying three different teams under various coaches.
Jordan was surrounded by all stars most of his career.
Peak Jordan was probably better than peak LeBron, but James has had a more impressive career IMO.

The players were older the last 3 championships. Jordan and Pippen were the only all stars in the years of the 6 championships. Pippen never made the all star team after leaving the Bulls.

Just kidding of course, you're right and one can make a case that either is the true GOAT IMO.

Seems like most of the other all-time greats don't even rank him top 3
Even Kareem came out recently and said he's not even as good as Wilt or Russell, much less Michael
Guys you have to be realistic they don't play defense these days and haven't in many years.
This is a FACT and it matters.
Also the league used to be flooded with great centers & forwards in the past.
You think Lebron would have free reign to the rim with so great defensive big men in the part?
He!! no he'd be getting that sh!t rejected or knocked to the floor often.
Weak league these days it's plain & simple.
He's great of course.
But only amongst the scrub league he's gone against.
Jordan and Lebron are 1a and 1b imo. I use to go to a lot of Jordan road games and he brought it every night. He never took off games and was totally obsessed with winning. He forced his teammates to play to a higher standard. Lebron is a bit different. He doesn’t seem as obsessed but he is clearly driven. What is amazing is that he brings a swagger to his teammates, a confidence that makes them play better. He’s a ring leader, a QB running the offense. There has never been a player that has meant so much for his team. He joins a team and they become instant championship level where they were awful before. Then the team he leaves is instantly the worse team in the league.
When it’s all said and done I’ll most likely say that Lebron is the greatest of my lifetime. What he’s doing at his age right now is unheard of. He has never, ever had a serious injury. He’s a medical miracle, blessed with incredible genetics. There’s no way in hell that Jordan could go to a bad Cleveland and Laker teams and win titles. I’m totally convinced Lebron would have won 6 maybe 8 titles in Chicago if you replaced Jordan with him. Lebron is the ultimate franchise player.

Your Haterade is showing, get off my lawn guy. The players today are 100 times better than guys 30 years ago. The speed of the game, the elevation players play at are unheard of. These teams today would blow out all those old teams you worship. Those old teams had 1 or 2 stars but a lot of 1 dimensional dead weights. There was some really awful teams back in the day. Big men like Wilt and Russell wouldn’t even be on the floor as teams would trade your 2s with 3s. NBA players today are the most athletic athletes on the planet.

That's your opinion
I can tell you for a fact that with Hakeem, Shaq, David Robinson, Mourning, Ewing, Mutombo, Malone, Barkley, Oakley, Rodman, Mason, Garnett, Davis Brothers, and so on, Lebron wouldn't be able to throw his weight around like he does today in a much smaller league. He'd be getting shots swatted away and knocked to the floor regularly.

There's on one true dominant big man in the NBA today
And Lebron plays WITH HIM!
Think about that.
Without D-Wade and Anthony Davis what would he have??

That’s because the big man is not important with the evolution of the 3 point shot. You are too old school. You’d rather have Ewing while the analytics would point much higher to Dame Dolla. Plus the guys that you think are big, really aren’t that tall today. Today’s NBA is long, lean and fast. Those old big guys you’re thinking about were too slow to play in today’s game. They would not be able to physically pound on guys today because they would be too slow to touch them.
Guards and forwards rule the game today. It’s been this way for about 30 years now. Same for college and AAU. Big teams get blown out of the building.

Well you just validated my point.
Lebron uses his size to bully this smaller league and wouldn't be able to do the same vs a bigger league which used to be loaded with Superstars.
How many Superstars does Lebron have to go thru?
James Harden?
Kahwai Leonard?
Caron Butler?
Are you kidding me?
And last but not least, it always makes me laugh when ppl talk about how evolved players are today.
It takes thousands or hundreds of thousands of years for us to evolve.
Not 30 years lol.
There's merely more ppl playing sports these days and with better fitness programs.
The players today are not any better than those 30 years ago, that is ludicrous thinking.

The league is not smaller today. It is actually much more taller today than your 1950s teams. Today’s players are just as tall as the 80s teams but are stronger, weigh more and are much faster. Players today are much more skilled as well. They are better shooters, much better dribblers and are off the charts athletically. Contrary to your no defense argument, today’s players would easily lock down 30 years ago player because they have better lateral movement, which is measured at every combine.

You listed 13 out of 14 guys that were all lighter than Lebron to prove a horrible point. I should be insulted.

GOAT to me. Most people who hate on him don't even watch NBA games. He makes every player on his team better. People should appreciate the years left of him because who knows if there will be another.
