I just posted this because of discussions on other threads about rating QBs based on passing ratings.
The list is a bit interesting, and heavily weighted in favor of QBS of the last 10 years or so.
Some interesting notes:
No. 1 all time -- Aaron Rodgers. No big surprise
No.2 all time -- Tony Romo. Never would have guessed that considering what a LOSER he is.
Tied for No. 9 with Joe Montana -- Matt Schaub. Matt who? Does he clean the gutters at Texan's stadium or something like that?
No. 18 -- Carson Palmer --- Hasn't this guy demonstrated what a mediocre talent he is? Can't believe he still plays.
No. 42 -- Ken Anderson. One of the best field generals ever and comes limping in at No. 42?
No. 71 -- Johnny Unitas. Need I say more?
No. 187 -- Joe Namath. Ok, about where this overrated show horse deserves to be.
No. 216 Joe Kapp and No. 234 Bobby Douglass. No comment on their passing abilities, but you wouldn't want to mess with either of these two QBs in a dark alley. They would spit at anyone suggesting "keep the QBs safe rules" when they were playing.
Many more things I could say, but you can form your own opinion.
