LT Profits should answer this but the way it was graded is as follows (and I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with this since it is not clear in the original post by LT).

No one got the tie breaker #1 right.

So tie breaker #2 was used to declare winner.

Again this is my personal interpretation of the way it was graded and not the way the rules are interpreted.

that's exactly how the contest was graded. there is nowhere in the tiebreaker rules that says "closest to". you either have the correct answer or it rolls to the next one.
