Frogsrangers tries to pawn/sell his Rose Bowl ring
Rick: Hi how can I help you?
Frogs: I've got a 2011 TCU Rose Bowl ring here you might be interested in (takes off the ring and carefully sets it on the counter)
Rick: (Gives the ring a quick once over) Ok, ahh what did you want to do with it?
Frogs: I'd like to sell it
Rick: And how much did you want for it?
Frogs: $1500
Rick: Ok ahh, to be honest we're really far apart here
Frogs: Well make me an offer
Rick: I'd give you like $100 for it, and I'm not even sure I want to do that
Frogs: $100! Come on this is a Rose Bowl ring here. I'm sure you get plenty of collectors in here from Texas that would love to have this.
Rick: Well there is this one guy that comes in a lot called Opie, but he just looks and looks at stuff and then gives us a crazy lowball figure on an item he wants. Can't make any money off the guy, and he usually won't leave the doorway, just looks at whatever is near the doorway, cracks a few jokes and leaves.
Frogs: Come on look at this ring, it's beautiful
Rick: Were you on the team?
Frogs: Well, yeah but I wasn't on scholarship. I mean I did all the work but I don't have any stats and I wouldn't show up on a roster but...
Rick: Ok ahh it's not that I don't trust you, it's just I don't trust anyone in this business. I mean you could be some guy on a losing streak that touts mediocre picks online or something
Frogs:
Rick: I mean the ring is 10k gold with a bunch of CZs, I'm sure it's really neat for you as a player but I just can't see any money in it. Big Haas, you want to come over here and check this ring out?
Big Haas: Ok, how much did you offer him?
Rick: $100
Big Haas: Look man, if it helps you out I'll give you $125
Frogs: This is ridiculous. Probably a bunch of Obama voters. I would beat up you and Big Haas.
