I have the same mentality when it comes to my deposits offshore. I'm not trying to double up. I'm trying to take $500 to $100,000. As fast as possible.

Imagine where our types would be sitting if we had the weakest link mentality and said BANK every time we hit 10k, and started over with a $500 deposit, never touching the money we banked. If only it were that simple.

working for around 20 years helps, find myself with a paid off $400k house, $300k in retirement and my business is worth $300k or so.

so there's being a "millionaire", used to be if you had a million bucks you could live off the interest, now even if you had $1million in cash, the interest would only be $20k/year or so (at 2%) and my family healthcare expenses are $12k/year

so looks like i'm working until 70 like the rest of the country

I hardly deposit much at all and most of the time thats gone soon and im buried. i've probably created more buried threads in sbr over the last 2 years than anyone.

But I'd rather lose 100-500 (or 1000 on the off occasion) trying to be great than win 12k and cash out. that is why I don't care if I lose it.

If I deposited and lost 12k I already said Id go crazy. People trying to cash out $100 makes me laugh, why not just work at mcdonalds? I can make 12k a year there too
