    Reds Phillies UNDER 7

    I know PWAD is on this as well but I also started a thread last night asking if anyone wanted to bet betpoints that he would be on that as well...got moved to the points thread forum.


    anyway these teams just aren't hitting at the moment, Hamels will continue is ownage of the Reds, only worry is if Cueto comes out with a clunker and the lefties Utley, Howard and Domonic Brown have big games

    even if they do tho I think Cole is going to give up 2 runs MAX so its gonna take the Phils to put 5 on the board for this UNDER to bust.

    the Reds are going to face the same problems they faced in the playoffs when they got booted in the first round. when they face top flight pitchers their offense gets shut down. they have way to many guys in the line up hitting below .260. granted they haven't relied on the deep ball as much this year..

    You're over thinking if you play anything but the under here. There is a reason it is an obvious play. Hamels has been better against the Reds than anyone in his career and Cueto has been almost as solid against the Phils.

    Will Vegas clean up if the over hits? Probably... but I don't believe in fixes and I think both pitchers are motivated enough.

    Under is the obvious play for reason.. The pitching matchup is about as close as it gets. Want to pick the winner? Flip a coin. The ONLY thing that would possibly factor into my decision if you made me pick a team to win would be the pen. I've witnessed wth my own eyes the Philly pen just give games away. Reds pen is as solid as it gets. If its close, and it should be, that will be the deciding factor. Cueto gives up a run early in almost ever game then he's unhittable. Hamels might give up a run or two late. First 5 take Philly. Ml take Reds.

    I mean... 3rd baseman had to move in on the ball and his momentum was going towards home and then he throws across his body to 1st base. I'm so sick of watching professional players blow plays that are taught in T-Ball.

    I feel somewhat relieved to of only getting out of that inning conceding 1 run with no outs and bases loaded but that run was far from earned. That should of been an Error. Whatever 1-0. Hamels will settle down.

    Saberhagen (85 and 89) did it twice if I recall. Pretty sure Maddux missed the All-Star game in his huge run of Cy Youngs too. Clemens too.
