of course they could.. but its doubtful that unless they are already an established borrower for big loans that they would get on even near that high.

We don't monitor points loans unless something majorly traumatic goes down... and I think we've intervened maybe 3 times ever when it's involved 10s of thousands of points. So I can't see why you couldn't ask or give out a loan for this. As long as both parties are aware that if someone stiffs or whatever we won't get involved so there's no use coming to us.

my membership expires in july of 2013 i think

what are my options besides points?

as i think points is the wrong way to go IMO if other options are open.

i don't see any listed it just says loading but never loads

    thanks

As of now you'd also have the $200 donation to charity option. But since you and I are up for renewal so far away, there's no point in us even worrying about it now as it might change anyway in a year's time.

I was thinking it was at first too but if you bought 13 $15 pizza cards = 2640pts = $195 worth of pizza

So I think it seems about right, no?

Great idea, thanks SBR! Just wish the store could be expanded a bit to have some more stuff (no disrespect but adding hoodies and duffel bags as was done recently didn't really quite do it for me)

Is it safe to assume that the previously posted automatic 1 year extension is still in effect?

you get 4,380 points just for signing in every day of the year.

    4380 pts = 19.9 $15 pizza gift cards ~ almost $300

I'd say 3500 is about right.

I don't know where to find how much betpoints are sold for

does $200 buy 2750 points? I guess thats the easiest way to price it.

I was looking at it from the cost to the poster which is normally $200. Even though they were playing that at books they still had to come up with that money upfront. Regardless of what option we had before, we were always getting more than the dollar value we had to put in even if someone just did the bare minimum and logged in each day, never played trivia, poker, etc. Especially for the guys who were depositing and immediately withdrawing from fantasy books. Their memberships 'cost' them nothing at all - not even the risk of having to rollover their cash.

    2000pts = 100 Euro = $125US to buy from SBR

So 2750 is about $171 if my math is right?

Going by this 3200pts would equal $200...but also that was only to buy points not renew. Renew should have an extra cost. I'm sticking with 3500 as the right price.

Yes, but the extension expires at the end of the year. Hopefully this advance notice will help some start saving a few points for the renewal.

The 2750 is for an ontime renewal. In other words renewing before your current upgrade expires. Which every Pro can avail themselves to at this point. We are looking at a higher price point for those who allow their upgrade to expire. Probably in the 3200 range.
