    "Instant" Notification is Broken

    At least for me.

    I get emails EXTREMELY late. I just got one a few seconds ago for a post that was about 15 hours ago.

    Anyone know what the deal is here?

    We'll look into it. It may be a feature of the new VB to not instantly send the emails for load balancing reasons.

    I have like 10 threads on instant email notification, could that be part of the problem, or is it unrelated?

    Cause if I had to pick like 5 or less or something and it'd work properly, that'd be better.

    I've been getting emails about 5 minutes after a post today, which was always standard for the notification system. Thanks to whoever fixed this.

    Thanks for confirming, Carl. The service that distributed emails had to be tweaked.
