Depends on Big Bens health. They are still solid at RB and WR. D is aging, but still top 5. This equal playoffs, but think they fall short of AFC Championship game.

Defense is too old, I thought last year was their big drop off year. but it has to be this year.

besides that Troy Polomalu always gets an injury and that KILLS them.

Casey Hampton and Aaron Smith are the two biggest reasons they've been so good for so long that no on really talks about. Farrior was another under-rated guy that made tht defense work

    Smith is gone

    Hampton is gone

    Farrior is gone

Harrison is too old, entire secondary is over 30

    no way!

touch sched this year. early bye week. I think they lose the opener this year at denver in prime time without Ryan Clark. Manning will have a field day picking that defense apart with all that time to prepare!

you know he is the gonna be the hardest working QB in the film room this year to prove everyone wrong.

I bet he's watched 200 hrs of steelers footage already.

Denver torched Steelers secondary without Clark last year with.....TEBOW~

Will be in a dogfight with Baltimore for the division title, Steelers are better than last year because of an improved offensive line. With Haley as OC, look for a return to smash-mouth football and less of Ben passing 40 times a game.

Steelers will do very well. Their o-line got a huge upgrade. Ben with protection = Ben winning shootouts. No more crappy kemo at guard, replaced by andrew luck's guard. Willie colon has moved from tackle (injured last yr) to guard where he is excelling. Max Starks, pouncey are back at LT and C. Marcus Gilbert at right tackle is the only weak link, but overall this O-line is geared up to do wonders for Ben. Sky's the limit for the Steelers.

While the defense won't be as strong as years past, they will easily be able to hold onto leads.

They got rid of the older guys, and got younger .. o line better... wrs solid, rbs solid.... secondary has potential as long as they are healthy, just like ne other team... 10 and 6 to 12 and 4 range... d line is younger and should be solid... look out for steve mclendon dt,

But they'll probably be underdogs only three times all year. They will probably be favored in their first eight games. Of course, that is not the same thing as saying they will win them all.

profits hit the nail on the head, the line is better and theyll be more run oriented like the typical steeler teams. more ball control less pressure on the defense, which is getting old.
