Well some good stuff here but I am going to give it a go
I think its not a bad place to live for a single guy
Control and your fine, the high rises are beautiful to live.....prices not sinking as much as people think close to the strip
I will take it serious too and wear a suit everyday

I cannot wait until Gritter gets there as I will be strutting down the strip with his girl

My buddy just bought a house off S Eastern by GVR for 160k. Built in 2001, 2200 square feet, 3 bed/2 bath with a pool, hardwood flooring, stainless/granite and new paint. Unreal deals right now.

I just seen some of these prices there and it isn't too bad. I would love to go out there but finding work might be a problem though. If I could find work without having to have two jobs I would highly consider it. If the economy was really getting better I would really consider it. As long as I have great control I would be alright. I just have to wait until my moms health gets better first. She has been having serious heart problems for the past year. I have to be here to help in case something happens. It sure would be nice to go there because things are pretty affordable and it would be a great place if you are a professional gambler on horses, sports, or poker.

Job market is shit in Vegas unless you work for the hotels in some capacity. Nowadays most decent jobs are grandfathered in. I'm in film production and I looked for a long time and there was practically no decent work unless I wanted to make training videos for the hospitality industry forever or do porn. My buddy who bought that house bartends at bell and takes home 100k+/yr, so if you don't mind the hours it's an easy living, not alot of upward mobility though.

Yes, just took the bar in Nevada this past july.

I have no idea if I will be moving there, but I really want to. Much nicer than PHX, and the ability to gamble is a good thing for me.

At least opens the opportunity for me to look at real jobs out there.

    Vegas feels like home.
