Looks solid as long as Martin is the man in TB. I haven't paid too much attention to TB's camp, is he suppose to get the bulk of the carries over Blount? I liked Romo a lot more before Witten got injured. Still would like to see Garrett take the reigns off of Romo and let him sling it around. Witten seemed like the one guy you could trust to stay healthy on that team.....at some point Dez and Austin will have their usual injuries.

Overall your team looks strong. No weak points. Romo may come back to bite you, but you have Burger, who should have a good year. PIT is now a passing offense, no longer a running offense.

Nice draft. I'm picking first and really considering McCoy with the pick. Think he will have the best year out of all the top backs.

Don't see how you can pass on Arian Foster if you are going to go with a RB. Houston's running game is ridiculous.

Big fan of that team. Wayne is the weakest player in the starting rotation - and he is still a solid WR3 option, especially with Garcon on the bench.

Well done, man! I don't know much about Tony Romo this year, was interested in looking into him if I couldn't grab a top 5 one - because Matt Ryan has been going too early.

Drop Mikel - dude is done. Much better options on waiver, I am sure of that.

I picked 3rd, and was praying for Ray Rice to fall - which he did, as most drafts right now are 1) Arian 2) Rodgers 3) Rice/Shady

Huge fan of Shady - but I think Rice is this years best back until proven otherwise.

I think Tate is a great backup and will get 10-15 carries a game himself. I'm in a 14 team league and r.b.'s were a premium last year. Still not sure what to do. Don't know how I can go wrong with Rice, McCoy, or Foster.

    Yeah can't miss players:

    Tier 1 RB

    Foster
    Rice
    McCoy

    Tier 1 QB

    Rodgers
    Brees
    Brady
Fringe top tier: Stafford (injury risk is worrisome for me)

    Tier 1 WR

    Calvin Johnson

    Tier 1 TE

    Gronk
    Graham

    ----

Every single one of these players will produce - no question about it.

Thanks Chalky. Barring injury, the 1st pick is not what I'm worried about, it's the 2nd/3rd round pick that will make or break my team. What would you do in the 2nd/3rd round if you were in a 14 teamer? I'm picking first and then dont get a pick till 28/29.

Don't really like martin as my starting no.2 rb with stewart as your back up.

Kid might not even start most games and/or split carries.

Which rankings are you using i.e. ESPN/Yahoo/Rotowire?

Also, assuming you are going Arian or Rice - you might want to grab simply the best player available 2nd, an then look to a QB. That is a hard pick, IMO.

I'll tell you what, if your settings are only 4 pts for Passing TD - then you can hold off on QB, and are better off loading up on RB's as soon as possible. That is unless there is a run on WR, which means RB's will be available later. My drafting strategy has been RB RB RB (or QB if Cam is available in the 3rd or WR if Julio Jones is available in the 3rd).

At 28, you might have a shot at Stephen Jackson.

I am crazy high on Doug Martin as a 2nd RB with Gronk at TE and Green at WR. Martin is a very solid player, translates very well to the pro's, and moreover - Blount is absolute garbage. So even if there is a viable split, Martin is getting the majority, but since Blount is the better pile mover he mike snake a few TD carries - that's it. But that is no different than what Matt Forte or Jamal Charles are dealing with - who are going much much higher.

Guy is a stud RB, small schools do well in football - have been for years. And Doug Martin played on a high level against good teams and still did work.

Mainly, he already took over the lionshare of snaps with the first team with Blout was 100% healthy - now Blount got hurt after a few snaps. Martin is ranked in the 30's overall by yahoo. Makes him a very solid RB 3/Flex option, and a mid to low RB2 in a 14 team league.

Point being, Schiano is going to run the ball - we know this. Martin is already given number 1 duties. At worst it is a time share, but even then - you have the better back.

    Stud RB

Played against Georgia, got shutdown, did nothing.
I guess 3 yards a carry in the preseason is impressive too....
These backs are dime a dozen, anyone can run for 3 yards.

You make it sound like he's L.T./AP in their primes. Those are studs, not some plug-in back.

Couldn't agree more about the line in the sand being as clear as this (although I'm less worried about including stafford in tier 1). question is who is the next best rb and wr?

You got it spot on Chalky. Hard to pass on any of those guys. If I can't get any of the top 3 QB's, my plan is to load up on RB's early, and then target a QB like Ryan, Eli, Romo, or Peyton in the 5th or 6th round. Also, don't reach and take WR's early unless you can get Megatron. Don't see much difference this year between the round1 and round 2 WR's like Andre, Jennings, Wallace, and Fitz and the round 4 WR's like Marshall and Julio.

Also, what does everyone make of Adrian Peterson. Obvioulsy we'll know a lot more as we inch closer to week 1, but he is really dropping far in a lot of mocks. I've seen him still on the board near the late 2nd round and early 3rd round.
