I remember reading of someone who had the KC Royals @ NYY in 1983 and Royals are the underdogs and are down 4-3 top 9 and George Brett hits a 2 run shot to take the lead 5-4 but NYY Manager Billy Martin protests and the Ump checks Brett's bat and deems it illegal and calls him out and the game over NYY wins 4-3

As far as bad beats go, if anyone had Arizona ML they probably killed themselves. Up 15 with 4 minutes to go? That is as sure of a thing as it gets in college basketball. Just unreal how everything went right for Illinois there... too bad they couldn't overcome the cheating officials handing the title to May and UNC.

One of the dudes on here (I forgot who) had his biggest bet of the year with no runs scored in the first inning with 2 real good pitchers going at it (I forgot the pitchers and teams).
So top 1st is 1-2-3, inning over.
Bottom 1st is 1-2 no problem. Then the pitcher has the dude 0-2 and the 3rd pitch is jacked for a home run. Unreal. This stuff is crazy.
