    Typical forum evolution.

    1. forum is created, focus on content to establish market share.

    2. Added value placements ie. points, live odds added to increase traffic and establish upper tier in niche. Marketable to niche advertisers

    3. Forum and information becomes marketable for parent company. Focus less on content more on marketing. Mailing lists, sale of information.

    4. Attrition and turnover creates new market traffic more diverse demographics, youth. Value leaves "value added". Watered down points etc.



    Some flourish, some leave, some finally see that this is " business as usual" not what it used to be. Realize that they were merely used to create a viable entity.

    Site is not SBR but rather SBR marketing focused.

    Cyclical in nature for user directional for planned market share. Look across the street at the big boys. See where they are at. Headed down the same road.

    Enjoy it for what it is from day to day. Don't take it too seriously. Skip the commercials.

    A good sitcom or a bad soap opera. A little of both.

    Business as usual.

    Kids are very impressionable/marketable.

    The evolution of SBR and like sites is comparable to the mullet hairstlye.

    Party at the back, business at the front. A passing trend. On to something else. Some hang around too long, some move on to more fashionable and marketable trends.

    With the expedited agenda in today's socio-economic landscape to eliminate the weak and impressionable there is only so much more to take.

    Never succeed as a business model. Serious gamblers are few and far between. Without the production drama and low IQ idiocy, paids and persona's, these sites would not exist.
