The dumbest thing in baseball is managers who only use their best reliever in the 9th inning. When you actually should be using your best reliever in the most tense situations.

Why else do you think you could take a guy like Latroy Hawkins who posted ERAs in the 1's as an 8th inning guy and then he is getting lit up left and right posting a 6 ERA in the 9th inning? Mental midget.

I like this idea, give them 4 strikes to an out, if the ball was hittable and you didn't swing - thats you goddamn fault. If the pitcher throws an unhittable pitch - that mofo gets a strike, only allowed 1 strike per batter for the pitcher, throw another unhittable pitch and you have to toss him an underhand slow pitch.
Speeds up the game and puts runs on the board!
