    No

Gasol old and banged up. Nash too. Kobe ancient. Team has one shot essentially. Howard wants the spotlight and Kobe will tell the fukk to sit down. Won't mesh well.

Howard won't be asking for the ball, and nash last 3 years still gets double teamed. bynum was a product of having kobe and gasol

Sixers and Lakers made out well in this trade. Denver got fcuked bad. Not sure why they wanted to do this trade so bad.

Too many super teams in the NBA right now. League should just contract to 16 teams. That being said....OKC and Miami are fcuked come next year.

A source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Marc Stein the Lakers will receive Dwight Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala, the 76ers will receive Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will get Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic and one protected future first-round pick from each of the other three teams.

In addition, the Magic will be getting other pieces, including 76ers No. 1 draft pick Moe Harkless, a source told Stein.

Could Kobe acutally get benched at the end of games? that would be hilarious, Kobe pretty much useless now that they have Nash.

A lot of talent here. Kobe might get another ring. This team is better than Miami. LBJ can't stop Nash, Bryant, Gasol, and Howard. Some old, no experience together, but this crew is fierce. Can Kobe Bryant share the ball?

Yes, but the 2012 edition is better. More players that still have gas in the tank and a more cohesive unit.

Lakers worst move ever is their new coach.. he's a fukkin joke. No reason to ever hire him. Should of listened to kobe.

    Overreaction by Laker Fans.

    But.

Laker fans will be mad when the Lakers don't win this year, and Dwight bails for Dallas or Brooklyn in 2013.

a protected 1st rounder, which is nothing since sixers will be a playoff team for a while

I agree there is a good chance Dwight becomes a Maverick in 2013-14. Lakers need that ring this year.

Agree.. heat have too many hall of famers to compete against.. Still not fair.

Wade has great supporting cast to close games.

    Lebron, Bosh, Ray Allen etc...

    Team too stacked.. no competition.

If heat don't sweep the finals it should be laughed at.

Wade has soo much support now.. lebron etc... can win without him as he proved, but now easier than ever. Lebron along for a good ride.

You have the offensive general in Nash. Nash will set things up for an aging Kobe. Gasol has length, can score, and a grinder. Howard will be happy and if you remember in Orlando, he was a beast when he had incentive. Now that Howard has incentive, he's going to be a top 3 player in this league. I like the fit because Nash isn't selfish and neither is Gasol. Kobe has lost a step but he's still the best closer in this league and Howard is dominant in the middle.

I would take this team over Lebron, Wade, and a washed up Ray Allen. I forgot about Chris Bosh but he's noit in Dwight Howards league and if LBJ or Wade thinks about taking the ball to the hole, they'll think twice due to Howard's pure power defensively

    Agreed.

Only question that remains is can this Lakers team win 70 games in the regular season if healthy?

Dwight didn't have the team that he has now. Wade's play last season wasn't the same and Bosh is soft. Ray Allen is a hard worker and will hit his occasional 3's but he's washed up for the most part if you watched last year.
