I was about to lament how there's a ton of Happy Mother's Day threads and well wishes at SBR, but when it came to Father's Day nobody posted shit.
I like to think I'm one of the good father's out there. Kids are doing great in school, perform well above their level and with one going into 6th grade and the other entering high school, they have only missed one day of school between the two of them.
The high schooler has never, ever missed.
It's not just about school, but they are enjoying what they do and there's no doubt we have a good start to reach a good outcome for them.
I feel for those parents on the other side of the spectrum, those who have to fight to get their kids out of bed every morning.
I recognize I'm on the lucky end of that and am thankful for it every day.

And I've shown both of them the charts of our bankrolls, and how some strategies have their ups and downs.
Because I eventually win, it's great to show them these terrible times, to teach them the patience of the game.
They are learning, for one day they will be the boss of the family business.
