What does the line movement imply?

Asking for general knowledge. Can anyone post most common reasons for line movements please?

Could be many things: Sharp money, large money, injuries, weather changes, lineup changes, etc.

Yep, a lot of books will change their line because another book that's smarter with that league has moved. A book like Pinnacle that takes pros will move a moneyline baseball price after taking one of their bets. Most of the other bookmakers know that most bookmakers will be following Pinnacle and they don't want to be the book left back and taking lopsided action on one team. It ends up being the easiest to move your line when the market moves, in this case when Pinnacle moves their money line.

    Syndicate action will move lines

people like Nicky Santoro then "chase steam" meaning he bets the lines that just moved
