I still think he's a great coach.... I think the team is just that depleted.

You can tell during the last 2 on TV interviews.... he's very soft spoken.... (not so confident)... he knows he's out of answers.

In the OP you say the only reason Kerr wins is “because he’s surrounded by a dream team”, implying if a coach is surrounded with great players he can’t be considered great.

And then you list Riley and Pops as two coaches you consider great

Two dynasty coaches that were literally in the same boat as Kerr and surrounded by dream teams

he never won anything, he lost every year early in the playoffs. If any coach never got as much out of his team as he should have, JVG is the guy, and you consider him great?

Kerr has so much experience in his time as a player, coach and executive that its pretty ironic to think he is not in a position to help a franchise win games

Beyond the x's and o's of basketball, he has high level emotional intelligence and understands the value in building relationships with players.

This franchise will be fine going forward regardless of this year's Finals results and Kerr is a large part of that.

The inside the game came I have seen in the 10 minutes I watch these sham games I see the coaches talk about the dumbest shit ever. Something a coach teaching at the 4th grade level tells his players. "When they have the ball play defense, puts your arms up"

no wonder queen James gets so many coaches fired. If someone is dribbling, which doesn't happen much anymore in the NBA, get in front of the guy before he does 14 "euro steps"
