It's crazy to see how many all stars and HOF'ers were on both teams. We complain about "super teams" now, but both of these teams are loaded.

We are spoiled with all of the Championships. LA has so many great teams. So many great times to reminisce about. No dynasties last forever but the Lakers have a track record of rebuilding so I am fairly confident that I will have many more memories of Lakers hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy. Who is your team Peavy?

Here is another great memory - My buddy Kevin (RIP) called me up one morning and said hey you want to go to the Lakers game? He worked for AEG and was the main rep in charge of the Anheiser Busch account at Staples. We had seats in the 100's near the basket and then went to the AB suite to watch the rest of the game. Then this happened

She's fine. Everyone forgets that her brother and Mitch Kupchak fukked shit up pretty good and it's taken some time to get it unfukked. All of the noise is just tabloid bullshit. Next year is going to be crazy in the NBA.

I'll never forget that game. It was the moment I knew Kobe was destined to be one of the greatest ever.

Blazers were overrated and I think the only reason they got so far is because LA had so many good playrs with big egos, and Phil Jackson helped them to control that. But Blazers were an aging team and they really had no explosive players who could just take over a game. Steve Smith and Sabonis and Sheed and Pippen were all rock solid players, but none of them were superstars who could impose their will as a number 1 option on a championship team.

Yes but there were more Superstars years ago.

Now there's fewer and them assembling on the same teams makes it even worse.

they were like a pistons team just loaded with depth. not overrated at all. smart defensive players. ft line saved lakers per usual.
