    Stock Markets plummet afeter health care ruling

    After worrying for months about global economic trends, investors focused their attention this morning on one thing: the Supreme Court's decision on the Constitutionality of recent health care reform laws. Stock markets opened lower and continued downward on reports that the Court had upheld the key parts of the laws, including the controversial individual mandate provisions.

    This just guaranteed the GOP the Senate, 10more seats in the House and probably gives Romney the Presidency if he plays his cards right.

    Jesus, didn't even look at it yet today. OP - are you fukkin' simple? Dow skyrocketed and Nasdaq is up 3%. I happen to believe it has to be more about Europe talking Unity than Obamacare.

    Man, I watched my stocks yesterday after the announcement, and the medical sector freaking soared. Other places were usually average.

    Today, it is up everywhere. Except for the few stocks I own in asian companies.

    It doesn't mather that stock prices are going up because the value of the dollar is going down by much more.

    My advice is dont invest in the US. Buy gold or invest in foreign stocks.

    Stock markets been on a tear lately. It's up almost 3000 pts. in the past 52 weeks. And the dollar is even or up a little on most international currencies.

    The US is the safest investment in the world right now. I'd give US treasuries a AAAA rating if I could.

    I wouldn't count on that. Both camps have a shit ton of cash. Both will have easily reached "market saturation" levels in the swing states by Nov. By that I mean it probably won't matter if one side spends a billion an the other only 800 million in Ads.

    If I were pulling for Mitt I'd be counting more on the voter ID laws to help him more then the money the Super Pac's will spend.
