    If you have the bases loaded and 3 guys strike out, that 9 left on base. each guy gets credited with 3 left on base

    I checked MLB and they have 28 left on, so it depends on how you count it.

    Regardless the Mets are a joke, thats the point im trying to make

    The 28 LOB is just the sum of individual batters' LOB. The OFFICIAL LOB stat is based on TEAM LOB, which was 13 tonight.

    Was quite a strange game though. Mets had countless chances and they couldn't get anyone home with those bases loaded opportunities. And when those bases were loaded, SF managed to get out of it every time.

    i think hypothetically they could have played 14 innings and the score still would have been 2-1

    the mets pitching was lights out and both offenses were horrible

    when you total it as a team its not nearly 23, the mets haven't left that many on therefore. when you total each individual player it was probably that high but thats not how people usually look at it, this number probably isn't that uncommon totaling it individually
