It’s the first of a four game set tonight as the current leaders of AL west the Los Angeles hit the road to face the Texas Rangers and it seems they could have not picked a worse time for the hits to dry up. It will further exacibirate things if star rookie Mike Trout continues to remain absent from the foray. The Angels have now been boxed off in back to back games and will need to get back on track in tonight’s game in Arlington. The Angels are currently 55-47 and actually scored six runs or more three times before the recent shut out over two consecutive games at the hands of Tampa Bay this weekend past. Within the two losses we saw LA suffer nine hits with four of those coming from Sunday’s 2-0 loss that rained on Zack Greinke’s debut.
all over Rangers here especially if Trout is still out of the lineup. Santana has been horrible this season and I don't think he will be able to turn it around.
Under seems to be the play because both teams are struggling offensively but if anyone can end an offensive slump its Ervin Santana... Rangers scored 9 off of him just last week
think the Angels offer a bit of value vs. a Texas team that has been struggling offensively. Santana scary but Oswalt nothing special and he could have issues vs. the LAA lineup. Again, a value pick but like the Angels at this number.
