You could lose your life savings in a few days at bet365.com

With round the clock live betting on seemingly everything out there. I just recently looked at their set-up closely. A compulsive gambler with low self control could lose their life savings in a few days at this site. Assuming you could deposit your entire life savings at the site you could literally sit down and play for 36 to 48 hours straight and lose it all in one sitting.

On the other hand, a professional could win a fortune. With bet365.com we're looking at the future of sports betting. It just makes sense that someday a Las Vegas book will offer a set up like this and more and more online books will do it too as competition demands it.

They have a very nice mobile site as well.

Professionals aren't really tolerated too well though.

Check out their live betting, it's like the stock market on steroids. I'm really flabbergasted because I have no idea how they offer so many different betting options live simultaneously. Does anyone know if they have a person watching each live match or is the live betting automated?

Mostly automated deriving off pre-game expectancies with adjustments for time passed, goals scored or whatever relevant stat in question.

Generally scores and time updates would be provided by third parties. One trader monitoring multiple events, soccer in particular basically looks after itself.

Absolutely. After all, that's legal everywhere, the bet sizes are essentially unlimited, margin is essentially unlimited and easily available usually, and it's not considered to be as risky as sports betting. lol

I have a lot of experience with both and I have a degree in finance and there's no doubt in my mind that when you're talking about trading or even buying to hold common stock with no dividends involved it's straight gambling. If there's dividends involved and in some special cases common stock represents a type of investment but about 99% of the time it's just gambling.

Hard to win a fortune when you get limited to $5 bets after the first good week you have. Bet 365 is a square shop, nothing more. They were professional, and always paid, but they'll limit you to peanuts real fast if you start beating them. It is impressive software though, I'll give them that.

Now I see how it works. I also see now why bookmaker is so careful compared to bet365. Bookmaker is incredibly sharp on live betting usually, they're so good sometimes I would call it supernatural. I mean humans can hardly be as sharp as they are sometimes. Of course, they make mistakes too.

I was wondering how bet365 was so bold while bookmaker is so damn careful, now I know. There was a poster here a while back named "curious" who used a chase strategy that involved martingale bets and he could only do it at bet365 and he did it for a long time (he kept doing it until he left this site as far as I know) and he never mentioned his limits being lowered. He was a professional too from what I could tell. Maybe they don't always limit professionals?

I completely agree with you on this one. To be honest I don't even know why Bet365 isnt the most popular bookie of choice compared to 5dimes and Heritage and other bookies that people praise so much about in SBR. I left the page as soon as i saw their home screens, just pathetic.

Because most people on here can't play at Bet365.....duh.

Who cares abut home screens, bet365 is "fun" but their odds are crap majority of the time.
5dimes has great odds on futures and reduced juice.

Most european books have similar live betting as bet365 but of course they still are kings of live betting, shame they limit accounts so fast.
