    I see your point, convenience.

I guess it's all up to the buyer then to see whether or not he'd pay a hefty premium on this sort of convenience or remain the status quo and continue his offshore.

The possibilities are limitless. What about all that?

What about safety? Is that not important? Also, I added this to the earlier post...what about the peace of mind of knowing that you're not breaking the law?

And, there are some people who could really benefit from the increased limits of the Las Vegas books too.

Please, Vegas is considered a joke for sports betting as has been for sometime. They're no different than the William Hills and the Ladbrokes of the world. They want square action and will limit players and play chicken sht games to ever risk too much exposure. Futures odds in Vegas are laughable, a complete joke. 30% + holds. And this is for 5 and 6 entry futures too. They will stop you at the counter when you want to place a wager, say, I need to speak with the manager, and when they come back, its a line change against you. Saying vegas has comparable odds to top offshore shops is like saying my 100 yrd dash time is comparable to Usian Bolt since we both do it it under 15 seconds. You let me know when Vegas offers -104/-104 on an NFL game.

Vegas is run by corporations who see the bottom line being the most important thing, not being bookmakers. If vegas ever had to openly compete against the likes of Pinnacle, they'd be ruined in less than 5 years.

Peace of mind knowing you're not breaking the law? Let me inform you of a reality in today's America. If you're not breaking some law (out of the millions on the books these days), you're either a complete statist, or more likely, a passive and obedient sheep too cowardly to stand up for your god-granted liberties because some goon with a badge tells you you can't.

If someone doesn't break some law with his or her average day, then there's something really wrong with that person, and I certainly would never trust that person.

My money would be on the opposite. If the Las Vegas books could compete on an equal footing they would win out in my opinion. We have opposite opinions but unfortunately we'll probably never see Las Vegas competing with Pinnacle on an equal basis in our lifetimes, probably some day though.

lobbied? i hope you mean sticking an envelope in the right spot, place and time?

    I thought that was lobbying.

MUCH Lower hold rates, winners welcome, high limits for EVERYONE, including sharp players, and 500x more wagering options. Not to mention sharper lines with sharper people, and a business model with low overhead. It's not even a contest. Vegas is for squares primarily, but since you're obviously a square, I think vegas is perfect for you, so enjoy. You enjoy those complimentary drinks, and those parlay cards, and keep betting into those high margins.
