MLB is easier to beat than NFL regular season.

NFL lines are the tightest of any North American sport.

Well said and my point exactly!!!....MLB is like throwing change in the air and trying to predict which side its going to land on!... Ridiculous!!!...There's no capping this sport just lucky or not so lucky guesses

Not true at all. That aside though, there is a direct correlation between max bet allowed and a sport's "beatability", so the fact that Pinny's limits on NFL are the highest of any North American sport is all that one needs to know,

Could be, but if you look at the general population, there are a higher percentage of MLB winners than NFL winners.

Can't argue with that cause its a VERY valid point...However, keep in mind that the NFL DOES NOT speculate on quarterbacks like MLB does with pitchers....its very difficult to pick a side when they're so many unknown pitchers that will start in MLB games.

With the NFL you know the starters/QB's and their capabilities so, with that info you can pick a side and do so comfortably

There are some pitching stats that are very predictive, especially FIP and xFIP. You just can't use the commonly available stats and expect to win consistently. If it wasn't for MLB, I'd be poor right now.

As people always say, they look forward to the next sport and pretend they will own it only to have it own them and the cycle continues.

Thats so true!but I really did make a killing in the NBA this season...I have enough luck to either break even or post a small profit for NFL so thats why I look forward to these 2 sports.....as far as baseball I always lose!!!...never had a winning baseball season since I been betting on sports (1996!!!)

i don't care enough to put in the time for MLB... i liked to try to catch a team on fire and tail, or catch a team starting out a big losing streak and fade em, like Seattle's losing streak last year

or spot bets, like when Oswalt made his 1st start for Texas, i just had that gut instinct telling me no way Texas loses that game or when NY plays Boston and you bet every game in the series for an OVER u always get one or the same for CLE vs CWS always at least 1 high scoring affair... been watching Indians forever it seems

but still, don't like or really try to beat MLB
