Ray Allen joining the Miami Heat

But the Celtics Heat games next season just got a bit more intense.

The NBA is turning into a joke with all of this title chasing. Falling way behind NFL/MLB, IMHO.

Allen couldn't move past the Celtics trying to move him at the deadline.

Taking less money but greatly improving his chances of securing another ring.

All he needs to do is sink 3's. He can still do that.

He should be more open with the Heat, then the Celtics.

LeBron and Wade will get him plenty of good looks.

Nice to have someone who can close games at the line too

Lakers, Thunder, Spurs, T-Wolves......Heat, Nets, Bulls, Knicks.

    All other teams are irrelevant.

Miami gonna be a dynasty. Would love to be talking to Lyon and Shoebox right now. Guys had no clue what they were saying.

If Mike Miller was such a big threat from distance, playing with Wade/LeBron, Allen will be even more deadly

and no b/s about 'age' , injury etc...Miami heat are well aware what he can and can't do. It wont take much out of Allen to come off the bench to knock down 3's. He will never have to drive the lane (like he had to do with Boston at times) because Wade or Lebron will always be on the floor with him.

    Perfect pick-up for Miami

players nearing retirement accepting less money for a chance at a championship. nash, allen. although allen has won once already so him joining the heat is a bit surprising.

Nothing harder to beat than a disrespected ray Allen on an already good heat team. Boston let the wrong guy go to the enemy. I would have let pierce go, he is more done than ray.

If bulls get rid of boozer, they could throw a wrench in those finals rematch plans.

Lets all hope Rose comes back at full strength, and they don't rush him back.

Won't matter if he comes back full strength, which is highly unlikely till 2013-2014 season, Bulls have done absolutely nothing to upgrade the forward/big man positions. Rose the lone star. Great regular season team but not built for playoffs, when you need more than one reliable scoring option. The reason you have to have multiple stars in playoffs is because they will GET CALLS from officials. I think this year's playoffs definitely proved that.
