    he's a good fit for their offense. plus he has a ring and will be reunited will Chandler. he doesn't do much offensive wise, which is what the Knicks needs at the point, considering they have scorers everywhere else. they just need him to distribute, hit the open 3 when melo, stat are double teamed, dish out his 6-7 assist a night with zero to 1 TO and mentor Lin..

    jd knicks already said they will match houstons offer. houston only ended up offering a decent amount instead of the 30 mill range that was predicted

    is he brought in to start or backup lin?
    i doubt lin would want to return to the knicks if it is to be a backup
    which would be the reason why he is signing with the rockets

    Yep, similar to the Eric Gordon and PHX situation. Except, no matter what Lin says - Knicks don't care.

    Eric Gordon has already said he doesn't like Houston and loves PHX - so at this point, Orleans would be foolish to match. Maybe do so for a sign and trade option only - but even that is doubtful.

    Novak? He can't do anything in the playoffs. He's a liability. You can't play a guy like Novak more than 8 min a game in the playoffs when guys will smother your perimeter shooters.

    He is built for the regular season.

    Kidd is one of the greatest pgs of all time even if he is at the end of the career he is a great addition especially at the veteran minimum. Guy has a high baskettball IQ and will get both Amauri and Carmelo involved and will give the Knicks 20-25 solid minutes especially on the defensive end. This is a great signing.
