    Honest thoughts here

You make a bet at a book that goes off after the the match is started. The match wins and its graded a noplay.. Ok. no big deal. A few weeks later you place a bet 9 minutes after the match started and didn't realize it. The match losses and its graded a loss. Should it be a loss or noplay?.

the precedent was set with your previous winner that was "no action"..but whose responsibility is it to know what time that games start? The book should take the lines down right away to avoid this type of issue...

This happened at bookmaker. I put in a second half MLB wager didnt even look at the score or inning. It was already in the 7th and they still accepted my wager. I called back after I saw that and said WTF why is the line still up your lucky I didnt see the score or would have went the other way as I was losing. They said sorry and according to their policies this is their fault and it becomes a no play.

It gets a bit scary if you have a history of past posting at a book. You risk going from the shooter to the shootee when you do it more than once. It should be cancelled though if that's what their rules state.

both times were tennis matches that were moved due to rain. Both were about 5 mins after start. No i do not have a history of past posting and i actually take offense to that. Like i am going risked my account by wagering on a match that is 1-1 in the first. Both times were done when i logged in and saw match was about to start according to their times and i knew the matches had been delayed by weather from previous times. I didnt have a clue as the matches actually had started. Don't really care either way as neither were big bets. Just wondering about it.

Not sure what you're taking offence to. Your first sentence didn't even refer to how long after the match started that you placed the bet. Within a couple of weeks you do it again. Do a search on the forum and you'll see that depending on the book this alone is enough to demonstrate your 'history'. GL.

These books will take advantage of you when they can and not allow it when you're against them. BI/Bookmaker, all shit. Unless you're a winner against them. Shari knows, but now she's a paid shill, no book is safe in the US during baseball season.

Come on Cuse, I say repeatedly on here that I won't give my opinions about specific books that I don't or can't play it. Not part of my job and if I were asked to shill I wouldn't work here. Most of the regulars would see through that crap quite easily - especially from me since many know the books I play at. FFS I even posted a deal last night that Paddy Power is offering on tennis right now and they're not even an SBR sponsor.

I'm just going on what I know personally and what I've seen others post on here... past post once, yeah books will usually give you the benefit of the doubt. Do it again - especially in the same sport and within a short time frame - and things might start getting murky.

My bad Shari, I barely remember the post I made, had to check my history to see what I posted. I think that was my last thought before I fell asleep and of course it was an angry one for no reason. For the most part I agree with what I said in a haze but don't know why I came at you, sorry.
