    What were the odds on Michigan and Appalachian state. I doubt there was anything like this match, this has to be the biggest upset in the history of tennis.

    I have searched high and low for USA vs, USSR, but apparently books didn't take individual Olympic games back then, although USSR was like 3/5 to win Gold before Olympics started.

    NASCAR. Drivers at longer odds than 57/1 have won several times.

    Definitely not the biggest upset in sports history, although it's the biggest this year.

    I read someone in another thread btching about losing a parlay on him. It probably added 1% to the overall payout lol. I don't even like putting anyone above -500 to -700 in a parlay.

    The Americans beating England in the 1950 World Cup had pretty wacky odds.....I think it was either 500 or 600 to 1.

    And I think the USA to win the 1980 Olympic Gold in Hockey was up there as well.

    I've seen articles quoting Greece as being 150-1 going into Euro 2004 (soccer) which they won. Can't find an original source for that odds though.

    Maybe I should have been specific, I and talking biggest odds on ONE individual game/match. Futures don't count. Besides, even though Greece was 100-1, it is doubtful they were more than +5700 in any one game.
