It might tempt you every now and then to chase but if you stick with it for a few months you will start to get the feel of it. Once it starts paying off, the desire to make money overtakes the desire to bet. That is the key.
In time you will identify what sports you have the best vision in. You will also gain confidence as well as experience in looking at this from the spot bettor angle. It really is different. Money management is vital though. You need to set that up in your mind before you start. No going all in or going broke, that is foolish and will end badly. Solid reasonable amounts, steady and smart.
Eventually you can pass without even thinking twice about it. The only way it does not work is if you put no effort into getting better at it or if you just need to lose. I have seen plenty of both. Can you go to the track and not make more than a 2.00 bet ? Probably not, but in time , absolutely. Same goes for all sports.
Don't get me wrong, you will need to work at it to find strong opinions that should be strong opinions, but it will happen.
Hope you think about it, it really does work, at least for me.
Best of luck.
