    Little known Juwan Howard possibility

Could be first fab five member to win a championship at college or any pro level

Go back to 1991 and these guys were as big as Lebron, bosh, and wade playing for one team....revolutionized the game....and I fukkin hated them.

Just like I hate the heat

    LETS GO THUNDER!!!

Not surprising. They were all more style than substance. Howard does have the most character of all of them, but he stole money when the Bullets thought he was a 100 million dollar man and not even an all star. Highway robbery.

The Fab Five did beat Duke, but so does Virginia Commonwealth and Lehigh.

MVP of the league as well, he got a cup of coffee in the NBA so he was a good CBA player also played for the national team during the 98 lockout

You got me rm Must have been NCAA and nba only then.

Still pretty shocking considering the legacy they left behind and what should have been.

    true

I think the point was that they were overhyped and under-talented
    I disagree
a lot of great, fun to watch players and teams never win championships. That shouldn't be the only measure of success, sometimes the difference between winning and losing is so small

Meh...they can still legit say that they're champions

I guess Michigan should have taken care of business vs unc. Most overhyped team of all time. None of those other teams had espn 30/30 movies done on them.

What other hyped team to that level had zero guys win championships? I'm thinking Houston should have won in college but at least Hakeem won in the nba.

UNLV was the most overhyped team ever, Larry Johnson, Augmon, Greg Anthony lose to Hurley, Hill, and Laettner and they threw the game? that is the funniest thing I ever heard Duke had more talent

Over hyped? They won a title in 1990. Went undefeated until the Final Four in 1991.

You got it wrong. Fab5 were the most over hyped. No titles to show for their hype.

Duke may not have been more talented than UNLV, but they surely had higher basketball IQ. Same reason Grant "Uncle Tom" Hill and the rest of the Bluedevils rolled the Fab 5.

Lets not get crazy. Greg Anthony is a pretty intelligent guy and was a solid nba point guard. Unlv had ZERO backcourt depth and that was their undoing

Funny that they had two guys 6'10" and up off the bench and no little guys.

Webber would have won a ring in 2002 but game 6 of the WCF was fixed so the Lakers would advance.

At least, thats the story some would like to believe. I truly dont remember how that series went.
