    I like it Paco.

    It's simple.

If you believe OKC wins game 5, you take them to win the series at these odds, insane value.

OKC wont lose game 6 at home, so your basic logic has to believe it goes 7. If it goes to a game 7 - which it very easily could, this is not a bad bet, and a great value.

Paco I'm tailing you here it's gotta happen sometime. Some team has to be the one that comes back down 3-1 they go back home after the next. Miami might come out flat thinking it's over.

wouldnt surprise me at all if heat drop gm 5, but that will be it, they will go in to okc and win in 6...

please dont quote how they have only dropped 1 gm at home, that easy when you play a aging kobe, a dal team that was content with one ring, and a spurs group with a aging hof'er and bunch of roll players...i know you all up on okc nuts from day 1 but face it despite your insistance that okc is the better team that is simply not true..

I have always liked fading teams on their first close out attempt.

    Miami has serious mental issues.

    The value is there.

agreed, really considering a okc gm 5 bet....tough to get off the heat gravy train but think okc young guns may come out loose and firing on all cylinders in this one..

I agree. I think gm 5 is the best opportunity for a Thunder win.
However I do also think the Heat would then rebound and win gm 6 in OKC.

The following is the template for the Thunder/Heat Finals.
Check out the 1998 NBA Finals when Utah met Chicago.
Teams had identical records and were considered very evenly matched. In fact the Jazz may have been slight series favorites due to the home court advantage.

    Series summary 2-3-2 format
Game Date Home Team Result Road Team
Game 1 Wed, June 3 Utah Jazz 88-85 OT (1-0) Chicago Bulls
Game 2 Friday, June 5 Utah Jazz 88-93 (1-1) Chicago Bulls
Game 3 Sunday, June 7 Chicago Bulls 96-54 (2-1) Utah Jazz
Game 4 Wed, June 10 Chicago Bulls 86-82 (3-1) Utah Jazz
Game 5 Friday, June 12 Chicago Bulls 81-83 (3-2) Utah Jazz
Game 6 Sund, June 14 Utah Jazz 86-87 (2-4) Chicago Bulls

    Bulls win the series 4-2

I'm sorry but beating the spurs lakers and Mavs to me says a lot. All very good teams way better than the heat played to get here and the heat struggled to make it to the finals.

ive heard this a lot coming into this series and while hard to argue that okc beat slightly better teams i think spurs, lakers, and mavs getting to much respect in this argument...a dal team that was clearly content on just winning 1, a la team with a aging kobe, no pg, and a center that only plays when he feels like it, and a spurs team while very well coached and had a great regular season is ultimately a aging Hof'er and a bunch of role players... heat would have rolled thru that draw same as okc imho..

thats the thing that has CHANGED EVERYTHING. Miami is over their mental issues. other wise they wouldnt have closed out these last two close games. in the past when they were mentally weak they would fold and not close out the game. they have turned the page.

no. the Heat played a up and coming hungry very talented Indiana team that presented huge match up problems for them inside without Bosh, they got over that. They faced great coached Boston team who were coming in with so much motivation and heart with this being there last run at the title with the best PG in the league going off every game and they got over that..all without Bosh.

they have now crossed the mental hurdles, have Bosh back..Chalmers loves the big spotlight going back to hitting the game winning 3 in national championship game, to perfect role player shane battier. this is a wrap. miami is going to be a force to wreckon with for a long time.

Everyone talks about how no team has come back from 3-1 in The Finals. Since the 2-3-2 move in 1985, only the '93 Bulls and the '98 Bulls have had to go on the road and win G6 or G7. Obviously Jordan got it done in 6 both times.

So if you are thinking "OKC has had just about every whistle go against them, gotten nothing from Harden, and still had a chance to win in every game" then yes, +400 series value is great. Because if OKC comes out with their back against the wall, finally has a couple breaks go their way, and takes game 5, then this is anyone's series. And after just one game the pressure would be squarely on Miami to avoid a historic collapse.

only way refs might change is if people unload huge amounts of money on mia ml rest of the way, okc pretty much sealed its fate by accomplishing very little in closing minutes this series so far (in comparison to heatles).

Too young to know any better.

As has been mentioned, Miami fails to win game 5, OKC wont lose at home in that environment for game 6. OKC will be playing loose.

The thought of a LeBron collapse could paralyze these guys.

Basically, one has to believe that if OKC wins the next game, it is going 7 games. Who are you taking then?

I suffered through my favorite team losing to the Bulls, consecutively. All of us fans felt like we had the better team and that we weren't getting the calls. Most of the games were close enough to have gone either way.

OKC is done. Even if they win game 5 they are losing game 6 100%. What makes you think they'll be loose in an elimination game? They have folded under the pressure in this series and that's not gonna change.

OKC is done is game 5. It's over.

This is a different animal. Wade/Bosh and James are all in the prime. Only Spur in his prime is Parker. Duncan disappeared for the entire series and Manu only played well in 2 of the games. Who else was going to score for the Spurs?

The league needs Miami this year it's over. On the playground OKC could win 3 straight. They cannot here and it has nothing to do with any of the on court play by the players. This is about the money, big time. Good luck I want it to happen but it will not.
