I seriously can't tell if this is sarcasm. LeBron is a much better distributor than Jordan ever was. The guy was dishing assists left and right this game, drawing double teams at will. Chalmers and Battier are open because of Bron.

i think that is a much better comparison to begin with actually, LBJ doesn't have a jumpshot to consistently shoot at the end of games and its harder to penetrate at the end of games because refs don't call fouls like they do earlier on

Crustyme is obviously a 20 something and doesn't really recall MJ's greatness. I'm also a 20 something, but I was smart enough to watch the games when I was older.

I remember that Suns' series. Pippen wasn't very good. Jordan dragged them over the hump. I remember game 5 in particular. Pippen had like 7 turnovers even though the ball was in Jordan's hands 99% of the game as he was dropping 55 of their 111.

    2007 cavs, gotcha.

You can't compare the east when the Pistons were king, with Thomas and The Jordan Stopper himself in Dumars. To the load of shit it was in 2007.

Also, if you are willing to hold Pippen to some insane esteem, look at his accomplishments when Jordan wasn't his batman.

I am a Bulls fan, remember buying every damn finals and championship t-shirt. Own 1 Jordan jersey, the rest are Pippen. I personally like Pippen better than Jordan, and was always a bigger fan of his.

But, the argument that Pippen is the reason Jordan was Jordan is utter bullshit. Two great players, one the GOAT, on a team. A team that could have 8 peated if it wasn't for a gamblin..... errrr baseball sidetrack of Jordans.

    exactly.

pippen led the bulls in every category that season (2nd in reb) and led them past 1st round, something jordan could never do without pippen. wouldve advanced to conf finals if not for that crooked ref hue hollins with one of the worst bs calls ever. bulls also won 55 games that season, just 2 less than previous season with jordan.

So you say "I went back and watched the games, IN PARTICULAR GAME 5 of the Phoenix series" so by you saying Game 5 I should have taken that as Game 4? Reaching man, just admit you thought 4 was 5 and move on.

What we were discussing was the amount MJ/Lebron got from their teammates. I think Lebron is getting more from the Heat than Jordan got in a lot of his 6 titles. Especially the Suns' series.

Jordan had one of the greatest supporting casts. So its a nice little stat, but don't see how it helps you evaluate how great of a player he is.
