    if he hedges now he loses thousands(miami is +100) and after game 3 he would have to play miami -250 to hedge. LOL wtf??? its not possible. his bet he has to ride unless okc takes lead again and even then he might now be able to "hedge"

    calling in and asking for a pull. It is unorthodox but since it sounds like
    you placed this bet with a book and not a local (because with a local you
    could use credit to hedge and not have to put up) - ask them if they will
    cancel the bet if you pay for it.     Offer to pay $500 then $1000
    or even more, whatever it takes at least you will only lose a makeable amount
    and not $27k. The series is 1-1, it's no sure thing that they win at all, this way
    they make money and could give you the speech about how they never do this,
    take your fee to cancel and move on.

    he could do a partial hedge not a complete one.
    that means losing less but still losing.
    so rly his best try is to call and pay to cancel the bet
    or ride it out and go down in flames
    unless OKC wins Gm3 which would give a better
    hedge opp but he says he can't afford
    so i would try canceling
    enough JJ is a big man he can figure it out
