    so whats 10k points worth like $700? That can get u a hell of a nice room at Aria/Wynn/Encore/Cosmo/Venetian etc....

    In the past the $20 sandwich has not worked for upgrades at golden nugget. I'm 0 for 2 , while 4 for 4 for at other properties...

    20 doesn't work at golden nugget

    40 sandy in between CC and DL got me an upgraded suite at Encore for a week

    snobby golden nugget

    that trick has never not worked for me.

    Any chance of lowering the number of points for an upgrade? Gold Room for Friday & Saturday night are $119 per night on the Golden Nugget site. For the Gold Room Luxury, it's only $30 extra per night at $149 per night and the 1 bedroom parlor suite is only $100 extra per night at $219 per night.
