Shouldn't markets be crashing atm with so much of global production and supply chains being centralized in quarantined china.

Or is corona virus impact on markets and business exaggerated?

No. I think it's not a good play at these prices.

Firstly, I wouldn't buy anything from China until this virus is settled.

Secondly if you compare BIDU to BABA, BABA is a far better play. So I wouldn't own BIDU unless I had all the BABA I could hold.

Speaking of ET, earnings after the bell today.

They did NOT raise the dividend two weeks ago so a big; Fuggers! to them. I'm cautiously optimistic we can get above .38.

I think someone said scared money never makes a move. I am up 4000 in less than 5 months. I got it up to 20 of them so going to let ride. Could of bought nvda when it was 43 but let someone talk me out. Big mistake on my part.

You never know. Long term I love BIDU and BABA. Look at where their earnings could be in a couple of years.

If they continue to buy in high volume, the market could rise, even if market mechanics dictate the opposite should occur.

I said a few weeks back we would get a flat Feb and trade lower until summer. I would watch the price of oil. It's getting dangerously low.

I have trimmed back 1/3 of my position. Their business is performing excellent but it's just not translating to higher prices. With crude now at $50 they may not perform as well down the road. I will say the dividend is completely safe.

i guess my point is that qqq lost over 80% between 2000-2002... then lost 50% 2008/2009

losing 5-10% after a 900% up move isn't a bargain, wait for a huge dump
