Wow..over and over..issues about online poker. The latest is acr..americas card room. Chicago joey has done fantastic work on this as of 2 15 18. There are numerious issues that have come forward. Possible super user as play shoes ability to see hole cards. People and groups manipulating tournue play and chip dumping..this is the worst ive seen. Real real bad. Groups are timing down during tournue so other tables have blinds going up quicker..hence your chance of in the money way higher. He has tracked Numerous sit n go.players who sucked..and all at once they are playing unreal. The poker site has frozen some accounts..but the damage is.huge and head.over to.2plus2..news and views. Huge thread on this and his Twitter and Instagram and u tube show tons of evidence. Money root.of all.evil..so true...

I don't think I've ever played a site where short stacks don't time down their blinds close to the money in tournies. Very annoying but definitely not against the rules, and happens everywhere, like many of the things mentioned

yes I've played there it's definitely rigged. Most players take forever to go it's really bad i dont know if they're bots or real people but cashing in a tournament on ACR is wayyy too difficult

And they're STILL your buddies? Collusion is a problem.

But I think that has to be a problem on 6-player sit-n-go's. Half the table could be talking. On Multi-table tournies...I can't see how their network is that sophisticated.

The endless issues are huge. Affiliates back on party poker got caught giving rakeback..instead of the affiliate paying the players...he decided to pocket the money..some said over 100k. Full tilt poker sham....endless issues..u name it.

Probably not a popular statement for this crowd... but I think you have to be nuts to play online poker - or any gambling games online utilizing algorithms. They are specifically programmed to make sure they win and you lose... you are just hoping (for some stupid reason) that the thumb on the scale is not too heavy.

You would be MUCH better served to walk down the street and hand your cash over to the bum on the street.

If you're smart enough to win at poker, you're smart enough to succeed doing something else in life. Unless you just love poker and that lifestyle, you're probably better off investing that time on that something else. Poker has taught me valuable lessons and a skill set that I can use in other aspects of life, but sometimes I wish I would have spent all the hours I spent on poker elsewhere.

Yeah no matter how good you are, with all the knowledge, software and the game getting to as close to being solved as possible,its hard to make cash.

That being said if you can find a live game where donks very much still exist it can be a good living. That's really where the money is. Forget online, forget tournaments.
