Robert O'Neill, who is also a Fox News contibutor, tweeted Thursday that the idea floated by Trump, whose campaign he supported, is not something the world's lone superpower should consider.
A military parade is third world bulls---," O'Neill tweeted. "We prepare. We deter. We fight. Stop this conversation."
When a user pointed out that France and Russia conduct military parades, O’Neill replied: "Yes. Third World. If Russia or France were powerful enough to take over the world, they would. We are yet we don’t. That’s called First World."
O’Neill has been a Trump supporter since the 2016 campaign. The two dined at the White House last fall and did a photo-op.
Trump reportedly said he was inspired to stage a military parade in Washington on July 4, after watching France’s Bastille Day military parade last July.

Let me start by stating that I am not a Liberal so... please no attacks for me being a Liberal because I am not.
Let's do a simple Pro's vs Cons list.
Pro's=NONE
Cons=
1. Tremendous waste of taxpayer money.
2. Tremendous wast of time.
3. It accomplishes NOTHING.

I'd love to see public expedient executions brought back myself though..
We could start with Lifers with no chance of parole in jail.. Ones with a violent history and a bad record in jail should be the first to go immediately.. Free up space in our jails and save our tax dollars as they are just taking up space.. If some of the lifers in jails have become roll model inmates with a good track record then let those live and serve out their time.. Bad asses should have to go just that simple. Everyone on Death row today after one appeal should have to go to..

I'm all for rehabilitation but when you have harden criminals that are lifers that murder or simply that are just evil souls, I don't feel the need to have to pay for them (tax dollars) as they rot in prison for the rest of their miserable lives and take up space...
No I'm not kidding as our jails are over populated, alot of these lifer prisoners wanna die anyways... Were to soft on crime in this Country. Back in the old days we had public hangings and they went fast.. Bring it back.. Let God have mercy on their souls.. We got no time for that down here... Gotta take out the trash...

There already is a military parade on Veteran's Day. How about our embarrassment in chief does his job and quits trying to throw bones to his moronic followers. How about taking the money he would waste on his stupid parade and putting it into VA programs?
Our president is a buffoon and his followers are the same type of people that would have gladly been Nazis in 1940s Germany. None of them are original thinkers or leaders.
Why does the military need another parade? Should we celebrate them for not winning a war in the past 70 years? A participation trophy parade? Kind of a very "liberal" way of thinking. Parades are for winners. People choose to join the military. I applaud them for their service but I'm not for spending a ton of cash on recognizing people for doing the job they signed up for.
How about a parade for airline pilots? Maybe lunch ladies? At least brooks' mom would be recognized for her culinary feats.Comment -

We got the tournament of Roses parade out here, one year I went and enjoyed seeing the floats roll down the streets in Pasadena... I'm sure I'd like seeing our military weapons of mass destruction rolling down the streets too..
