Why Don't The Heat Play With More Effort?

When this team is playing with full intensity, they literally annihilate Boston. The Celtics simply cannot get a good look at the basket if Miami is playing with full intensity because of Miami's athleticism and length

Yet, Boston's on their way to scoring 100+ points for the 3rd straight game. What the hell is going on with the Heat? Why are they taking this series so lightly?

Game must be rigged or something. Can't think of any other reason the Heat aren't winning. Always another chance to chase.

Boston is better than you think they are. In addition, Bosh is out.

So who is not playing with full intensity? What athleticism and length? Outside of James and Wade they just plain stink, period.

Miami has phenomenal athleticism across the board. Joel Anthony, Shane Battier and Mario Chalmers can all run like the wind for their size

When Miami plays with full effort/intensity, they completely suffocate Boston

Joel anthony does not score, Shane Battier is not known as a geat athlete, and Mario Chalmers is a smallish point guard. In additon, the Heat's best gunner(Mike Miller) can hardly stand up straight. Don't know what you are looking at.

Anthony/Battier/Chalmers are all excellent defenders and pretty good athletes. Wade and Lebron are obviously 2 of the best pure athletes and best defenders in the league

The bottom line is that in terms of foot speed and just all around agility and quickness, this isn't even remotely close. Miami's just not playing with any heart or energy. There is no reason inferior athletes like Allen and Pierce should be able to consistently get clean looks

If correct, you have to blame the coach.

Have you watched Miami play with full energy?

It looks like they're moving at the speed of light and there's about 8 defenders on the court. Think that knicks/Heat game 1 where they won by like 40

    Of course.

I just asked whether the ball can be moved faster than they can move.

no, it can't but 5 superior athletes playing with full energy/good team defense and rotations will ALWAYS dominate a team with superior execution

If Miami played all out, they would win every game in this series by 15-20. Hell they would have won last year's finals easily if they played all out (especially Lebron)

Larry Bird and the Boston celtics of old. They were not the best athletes, but they would carve you up with their execution. Good example of the best athletes don't always win.

This game is exactly my point

Miami plays like a dead fish early and gets dominated, they start turning it on especially on defense and Boston's been outscored by about 18 since the middle of 2nd quarter

Boston really doesn't deserve to be on the same court as Miami if both teams play at full capacity

The Heat try to play so nonchalant and cute to much. Then they have to work out of holes. Mostly on the road.
