If Miami loses tonight I guarantee Boston in Finals.

I am not going to dredge up the colorful history on these two zebras
Joey Crawford and Bill Kennedy with Boston because some of it is years old.
And if you look at the stats you will see plenty of games Boston has won with these characters on the court. These the most
heavy-handed refs the NBA has in their ranks.
Joey is the chief tonight. Both the players and Doc will correctly expect a
tightly called game in which no bs will be tolerated. Doc better
keep his feet on the sidelines and not venture out into the court.
Going to need self-control by both players and coach.
Greg Willard is the 3rd ref, he'll only follow their leads. Joey
as head ref will be the one the Celtics talk to. This could be
a setup of good cop/bad cop where Joey gives make-up calls
for the Celtics and Kennedy puts LeBron and Wade to the line.
All I know for sure is these guys are not shy about infuencing
the outcome of a game. What is the instructions from the head office ?
I do not believe this game to be mandated for Miami.
These goons should be officiating Game 5 in Miami if the fix was in
    for the Heat.

Don't underestimate the media and fan-drawing power of a "final" chance
for Boston's Big 3 to round out their 5 years together and possible
retirements of Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett with one last
shot at a ring. The NBE can play this up and it will draw huge media
attention. Especially if it's against the Thunder where they can play up the
old vs young dichotomy and the Perkins against his old teammates thing.
With Bosh out and very questionable if he ever comes back I am not
sold on the idea that Stern is mandating a Heat to the finals this season.

They know they can do that next year and into the foreseeable future.
Therefore it is possible that the Puppetmaster has opted to
allow Boston in the finals ONE LAST TIME.

By placing Crawford and Kennedy in this Boston home game instead of
at Miami it makes me believe that is possible. Why are they placing their most
hard-line, controlled goons in this game, when they could have placed them
in the upcoming Gm 5 in Miami and seal the deal ?

It's one of two things, if Miami is the fix, we know it tonight and that's
it. If Miami wins tonight it's over. But if Boston wins tonight and gets
good treatment from the refs, I'm telling you RIGHT NOW that Miami
    can KISS THEIR SEASON GOODBYE.
Because it will mean that the
Head Office instructions are Boston to Finals.

Boston going out would certainly not make me "go away" as I bet all year long.

Heat, despite being one of the most hated teams in the league, caused some of the highest ratings ever in the NBA finals last year. People love to watch them whether its too root for or against them. The NBA wants nothing more than the Heat to make the finals so what your saying is absolutely false.

So the fix can be in for game 4, but not games 5,6 or 7?

i never understood the pure hate for the heat. just like the hate people have for mayweather, (which is all a ******* ploy, but thats anther matter)
people love to hate on people, who have more then them, have everything they want, worked their asses off to get where they are. while they work at tacobell cleaning out the bath-rooms every night.

Nobody is fixing any games you idiots. Like the first part of Snowballs post said the refs will likely call in favor of one team, as they sometimes do, and that team will likely be the Celtics due to it being on their court. This however will have minimal impact on who actually wins the game. It doesn't matter which team brings in the most revenue. People have been saying that nonstop on this forum and in almost every case, their theory was broken by the other team winning. First Stern wouldn't let the Chicago Bulls lose to the low fan base 76ers but what happened? Then Stern wouldn't let OKC beat the Lakers, but what happened? Honestly the Celtics beating the Heat would probably generate just as much hype as the Heat beating the Celtics. If you guys seriously take David Stern into your gambling equation, I am sure you must lose often. David Stern is not God fellas, he can't control the entire NBA like a puppet master, make sure every outcome and game runs perfectly with no error, somehow keeps the most competitive people in the world (the players) to keep quiet about, somehow is able to keep the refs quiet about it, and the coaches whose jobs are on the line quiet about it. You guys really think Stern is that powerful? He would have to be a divine diety to have that much control over something as big as the NBA.

celtics cant win in miami. Especially when the miami refs are butting james at the freethrow line for 24 attemts. look at series last year, when boston was deeper (Delonte West, J oneal, and J Green)

last year, celtics lose 1st two, win game 3, lose next 2.

They do? Who's on their bench that's so great? Dooling? Hollins? Steimsma? Marquis who never plays? Peitrus who only makes 1 or 2 buckets a game? Avery Bradley is out for season. So is J Oneal. So is C Wilcox. So is J Green.

    Boston's bench is not strong.

Yeah, Shaq was an unknown before 2006. Remember Riley was coaching them that year too. They lost in 7 to the Pistons in 2005 in the ECF.

If Stern or anybody in the NBA were to fix this series, it would be in Miami's favor, not Boston's.. They don't care about who is playing in the finals, all they care about is $$$ and ratings. Lets be honest, the public would rather see Miami in the Finals than Boston. Despite if you love/hate lebron and the heat, your still going to tune in to watch em and hope that lebron fails.. again. The NBA would probably make 3-4x the amount on the finals if the heat were playing rather than Boston.

It's not like the Celtics are a small market franchise

Celtics are the most storied organization in the whole NBA along with the Lakers

Doris Burke: Rajon, third straight half where your team's put up 50 or more points
in fact 61 points against what was one of the better defenses in the first two rounds
of the playoffs. What holes are you exploiting ?

Rajon Rondo: Umm, them complaining to the referees in transition.

    Exact wording from SAP feed.
