1) if A game is "rigged" (influenced by wagers/player performances/officiating), it doesn't mean EVERY game is rigged. therefore, for you to conclude that, based on wade being able to hit that jumper and the outcome being able to go either way, that you somehow prove every game of basketball in the nba is not "rigged"/influenced---then your logic is completely flawed and quite frankly you come across a guy with a really low i.q.

2) there are certain games/matches, in almost all pro sports, that have certain elements (not necessarily the outcome in terms of who wins) that are influenced by wagers. in some cases, it has been a player him/herself performing in a certain manner, in many cases it has been officiating/referee/umpiring, and in some cases it has been management/coaching, resulting in certain rosters.

if you believe otherwise from what i have stated in point #2, you aren't experienced enough of a gambler to be having this conversation or making posts worthy of reading in a forum.

check in again in 15-20 years when you understand the industry a bit better. for the time being, your posts are terrible and you come across as a very stupid person with really poor understanding of what you're attempting to speak of.

As far as Doneghy he was probably paid off to keep quiet and his whole act since then has been an act. He knows people are degenerates and he plays to that audience, so he goes on shows and talks about it and the gamblers eat it up, 'normal' aspects of society couldnt care less.

They wanted LA to win bad but Boston was the better team Sure enuf fourth quarter starts and the Lakers can't hit anything and then the parade to the free throw line started. I think you also have to take into account that there are live bets going on also. I think its a lot of things going on during tv and regular timeouts. Haslem could have went up near the end of the 4th quarter with a layup with a possible foul. SHAT!! He later got another chance but the buzzer went off. I mean really does anybody know what the payout was for Mavericks to win 4-0, like 100-1? Its hard for me to even believe the NBA's famously rigged refs would ever let that series end 4-0. Tim Dongahey rigged games, and he stated that the NBA told them to help certain teams out.
That could be happening now, or it could just be the refs get in a one sided mentality. You claim people only complain when their team is losing. It is a tunnel vision, why cant the refs get that. If they get caught up in something, or if they are close to a certain player or team (They do all work together) Why can the refs become slightly biased. They are all human. I am not saying it is right, i am just saying it is possible.

Last night's game between Spurs and Thunder was dominated by the refs. Players were second to them. Tim Duncan was +17 points for the game, and the Thunder made their runs with him on the bench due to foul trouble, as you can clearly see here: http://popcornmachine.net/cgi-bin/ga...04&game=OKCSAS

What kind of fouls got Duncan into foul trouble? A drive to the rim, with Collison stepping in to take the charge, but with his heel on the line of the circle. Should have been a block instead of an offensive foul. And later in the game Westbrook tagged Duncan with a foul, when he dribbled sideways with Duncan near and flopped to the ground. It was very clear that Westbrook was trying to get Duncan back to the bench after the Spurs came out scorching hot for the second half. It had worked in the first half as well... Two flops. Later in the game the refs did not call similar and far worse situations. The refs influenced the game much more than any player on the court. And I'm not a Spurs fan. It was just a reminder of what an annoying game the Stern WWF has become.

To be honest, this post makes very little sense. Knowing the outcome of a game and claiming a game is fixed are 2 different things pal. Hard not to notice the 47 free throws the Heat took in Game 2 for example. 50 free throws almost? In a playoff game?
