Reminds me of the shittys at the 24hr fitness. Take 30 shots, score all the points, but still lose the game.

    Pass the damn ball scrub.

    Its 5 vs 5.

Like Woody said in white men cant jump:

Get your stories straight you delusional prikk.

I'm sure you made lots of money betting against the Lakers this season even though you stopped betting the NBA 10 years ago. Although, I'm sure, you made an exception THIS season because it makes your
    stories a little more entertaining.
and just last week your posted that LA was the sports capital of the nation... hows that working out for you?

First thing this team needs to do is trade Bynum for Dwight straight up. They are still playing right now if they had a healthy Dwight instead of Bynum.

I'm sorry for calling you a retard. I didn't realize...............

When I made the post........Lakers & Clippers were just getting ready to start round 2...........Kings were stampeding through the playoffs.........and Dodgers owned the best record in MLB. Two of the four are still in effect........the other two were the reason for my specific wording. Get a clue.

They did not giev up a 1st round pick for Jordan Hill, they gave up a 1st round pick to get rid of Fishers salary. They didn't 'overpay' for him b/c they weren't even paying for him, they didn't value him as a player. They were paying for someone to pick up Fishers salary. That is ALL that trade was about. Everyone knows that (anyone who has a clue what they're talking about anyway)

    2. Barnes is a free agent and a minimum salary player, so no there are not "people who will want to trade for him"...b/c 1. you can't trade for a free agent unless it's a sign-and-trade and 2. who in the hell is going to work a sign and trade for a minimum salary guy?

    3. Wow. You seriously don't have a clue what you're talking about. Mcroberts is one of the most athletic 4's in the league and a great energy guy. No one who really watches the NBA would dispute that. He didn't play well, but your characterization of him couldn't be more off. Why make up comments about players you have obviously never heard of or seen play? You do realize there are people on here who actually watch?

    4. Murphy and Mcroberts are polar opposites of each other. They are white, and that is literally the ONLY thing they have in common when it comes to basketball. And you have no clue what you're talking about when it comes to McRoberts offseason. He was a sought after role player. The Grizzlies tried 2 years in a row to trade OJ Mayo for him straight up. You probably don't even know who OJ Mayo is though.

    5. Why would a team trade it's 1st and 2nd year plays who are on minimum salary and rookie deals when they are already trying to save money? You have no idea what you're talking about.
They gave away the first round pick regardless of what semantics you want to use he cost them fisher and a first round pick. So either they made a HORRIBLE trade and got lucky (which isnt hard to believe) or they actually made the trade to get him to use him. I know they didnt get him to 'replace' Odom, but he actually was the best player they got that would fit that description. regardless once he showed up neither Mcroberts or Murphy saw a minute of play time. If mcroberts is as good as you say he is why did he only get put into games the Lakers had zero chance of coming back in? And once Lakers got Hill Mcroberts play time (when he got into games) was cut in half. The guy is a stiff and thinking he is anything but a stiff is delusional.

As far as barnes I thought he had one year left, if he is a free agent then he will be gone too, so that just means another guy who has some talent that wont be there next year, so I would call that a big negative for the Lakers. Since he can leave and they wont get jack shit for him.

Also guys thinking Odom comes back, get real, sure he might but this guy is completely gone. Once his son died he completely checked out of reality, then whatever the kardashians do to guys sucked what little soul he had left out of him. But since LA is the land of misfit players he will fit right in again I suppose.

I never said they would trade those first and second year players, but knowing them they will. Since they wont ever see any playtime all theyre doing is taking roster space, for a team that needs talent the salary trade off isnt balanced.

Lakers are in the shitter, to actually compete for a title and not just simply make the play offs and get destroyed every year they have to make DRASTIC moves. Which goes beyond making 'obvious' trades. Even if by some miracle a perfect storm happens and they get the likes of Iguodala, Darin Williams, D Howard, and Kobe stays, you think that line up with the stiffs they will have coming off the bench can compete with the top teams in the west? Clippers will be better, Spurs will be better, OKC will be better thats 3 teams right there. they could finish 4th maybe even 3rd again but they still are a second round out with a an increased salary year looking at them in the face.

But even if I did spell it wrong who gives a shit other than guys who cant make a legit argument and have to go to the cant spell or punctuate or type correctly card. I dont spell check anything but most people are smart enough to get the words correctly. this isnt a grammar class in school its a sports forum.

but anytime you want to compare education resumes feel free to post a transcript.

even had you hit "o" instead of "i", you'd still get his name wrong.

couldn't care less about your hs resume..... but when someone claims to be an nba expert and doesn't know something as simple as a superstar's name, which team someone plays for, thinks 2nd rounds are 2-3-2 format.... and the infamous "lakers are a lottery team" prediction.... your credibility gets flushed down the proverbial toilet.

wait.... arent you the same moron who said hamels would win the cy young and that kennedy wouldn't even be in the discussions? when i challenged you to a h2h bet, what did you do? you pussied out like the chicken shit that you are.

it's actually the only smart thing i've ever seen you do...... cause kennedy clobbered hamels by 59 points, even receiving a 1st place vote. not bad for someone you predicted "wouldn't even be in the discussions."

sanchez stats improved across the board and was 1 win away from the playoffs. this with a non-existent rushing attack and a defense that wasn't as dominant as before. didn't you claim fitzpatrick was better? the same guy who led the nfl in ints. 'nuff said.

    you

    you
Again you are mistaken.. I said neither would win, and neither did. But I said if either could win one, it would be hamels. And as we all know, this is true..

And sanchez is pure garbage... I cant believe you are still sticking up for this clown

    As for the Lakers:
    1. Improve bench.
    2. Have a full camp and explore ways to improve the inside game. Allow Coach Brown the benefit of a full season.
    3. Sit Bynum down and give him an ultimatum. The talent is there but the attitude is awful. If major changes have to happen I'd look here first.
    4. Gasol's role with the team needs some adjustment. I wouldn't throw him into the trading blocks without careful consideration.
    5. Blake and Sessions aren't the path to the promised land. There are some difficult choices with the future of the Laker back court.
    6. Keep Artest. That stupid elbow tarnished an otherwise solid season especially from February on.
    7. Keep Kobie ball in the background. 40 points was great but 0 assists doesn't win championships.
    8. Keep the faith. The Lakers were the 4th or 5th best team in the league last season. Things could be worse.
