    Obama book claims he was born in Kenya

    Clearly Obama knew about this. Clearly that makes Obama either a liar to sell books and/or to run for president.

    Breitbart News has obtained a promotional booklet produced in 1991 by Barack Obama's then-literary agency, Acton & Dystel, which touts Obama as "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii."
    The booklet, which was distributed to "business colleagues" in the publishing industry, includes a brief biography of Obama among the biographies of eighty-nine other authors represented by Acton & Dystel.
    It also promotes Obama's anticipated first book, Journeys in Black and White--which Obama abandoned, later publishing Dreams from My Father instead.

    Miriam Goderich edited the text of the bio; she is now a partner at the Dystel & Goderich agency, which lists Obama as one of its current clients.

    "This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me--an agency assistant at the time," Goderich wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

    at least 3 separate articles when he ran for office in illinois mentioned obama's birth in kenya, kenyan government mentioned it in writing at least twice, book mentioned it, obama faked his birth certificate, etc etc

    please say how obama traveled to pakistan with a u.s. passport, it was FORBIDDEN

    maybe the truth is in medical records, columbia records, etc etc which obama has never (and will never) produced

    If more people had watched fox news in 2008 this horrendous mistake of electing a non citizen would never had happened, fox predicted all the bad shit that would happen too if he was elected.

    pakistan wasn't on the US no-fly list, but pakistan wasn't readily accepting u.s. passports in 1981. so just because you could fly there doesn't mean they would let you stay there.

    perhaps you have investigated all of obama's b.s. social security numbers and lies more than i have, so we'll agree to disagree. if the president wants to clear this stuff up he can just release his records from any part of his past.

Is he running on zero time as President? Why does anyone care about 2008? If you think Obama did a bad job the last 4 years, don't vote for him. Or is the argument that we shouldn't re-elect him because how he was in the first four year isn't going to be in the next four? If that's the argument, again, how does a bio of him from 20+ years ago show that? What do they say on it,

    Say what? His public persona? How is a bio on his history his public persona. Is any of the stuff in the bio different than anything than what we have been told(besides the Kenya part). Of course not, this is just pretext to present birther "evidence" under the guise of not birther "evidence".

    Obama spent big bucks quieting Reverend Wright, just imagine how much he spent covering up the whole birth certificate issue. I would think it would be in the millions.

    You don't have information like this in a literary bio hang around for 16 years without there being something to it.

    Says Reverend Wright. Did he save the supposed e-mail? Somehow I doubt it. Can anyone else attest to the meeting or the offer? I doubt it.

    In journalism they tell you two sources or independent verifying evidence or you have nothing. Mr. Klein has nothing, all he has an anonymous sources(just one for each thing I imagine), and few people willing to even go on the record(meaning he could just as easily be making 90% of the stuff up).

    Its like the Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton exchange. Bill Clinton denies it happened, Hillary Clinton denies it happened. But here's the thing, there is a certain segment of the population who are predisposed to believe bad things about people that they don't like(for whatever reason). These people don't need sources, and they don't need evidence, they just need someone to confirm what they think, so rather than say, "One source says this, another source denies it" they are want to believe the source that they want to believe, even though the only evidence amounts to a he said, she said.

    This would be like me saying, "Carseller4 told me that he killed a guy in Reno in PM but I didn't save the PM". Carseller4: No, I didn't! Golfrulz: Carseller4 is a murderer!!!!! There is no difference between this and all the excerpts we've seen out of Klein's book that attribute qualities and statements to Obama.

    Obama has been mentored his whole life and is very impressionable... from a child in Indonesia to Frank Marshall Davis to marrying his wife in Chicago to Rev Wright & Bill Ayers

    if the whole truth was available to the public in 2007 he would not have won the Dem nomination. Not saying anything is evil but would not be received well by the public at large

    Wait, isn't that an argument for Obama? Isn't the whole point that Romney has changed positions on issues a lot in the past, so people aren't sure how he'll actually be in office, whereas Obama has remained consistent by comparison(obviously neither of them has been all that consistent, but I find the argument that Obama has been less consistent than Romney hard to swallow).
